A great scary story!

Jason and his dad are traveling through the desert on their way to a campsite when their car quits. It's almost sunset and the nearest town is about 10 miles behind them - too far to walk in the remaining light - so they set up camp on the roadside. Jason's dad begins to tell a story about the last time he went camping with his own friends in the very same spot, but Jason falls asleep in the middle.

When Jason wakes up, his dad is gone. As Jason searches for his dad, it's beginning to seem like his dad's ghost story is coming true...

Steve Brezenoff definitely has a way with words, and he wove a masterful ghost story here. The unnamed narrator also did a great job with the narration, his voice adding just the right amount of tension to make this a perfect option for listening to around a campfire at night. I would be willing to bet that there would be a few kids that have trouble sleeping as a result. LOL.
