Publisher's summary
The story of Noah’s Ark is one of the Bible’s best-known. For many, it evokes memories of Sunday school children plastering felt figures on flannel boards or coloring cartoon activity pages. Is it just a quaint bedtime story? A major scientific marvel? An allegory? Was there a flood that covered the entire earth? Did a man named Noah build an extremely large boat and fill it with animals? Or was the ark actually designed to be a floating sanctuary?
The Temple Revealed in Noah’s Ark: From Chaos to Order examines Noah and the flood story from an ancient Near Eastern cultural and historical perspective through the lens of creation and order, chaos and tyranny, and kingship. It looks at the cosmos as a kingdom, the mountain as the center of government, the ark as the bulwark against chaos, and the vineyard as a sign of new creation.
The story of Noah replays the creation account. The concept of creation is infused throughout the Bible and represents a radically different view of human life than the one presented by the world. Creation is synonymous with order and order is synonymous with true liberty, equality, and justice that come from a covenantal relationship with the One True God.
Ultimately, Noah building the ark and rescuing his family from the flood is a story of bringing order to a world filled with chaos.
The book encourages the reader to go beyond the limits of our western theological mindset to discover the answers to some of the Bible’s most perplexing questions about the days of Noah.

Story
The subject of the Temple in Jerusalem usually generates a great deal of debate peppered with lots of questions. Some view the Temple as a building that was destroyed in the first century but will be built again to fulfill the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation. Others think the Temple is irrelevant because Yeshua’s (Jesus) sacrifice replaced it. Some are waiting for a new Temple to appear out of the heavens while others are taking steps to build it here on Earth. In this audiobook, Dr. Dinah Dye explores the ancient understanding of the temple from the birth of time.

Story
The Garden in Eden was filled with fruit-producing trees, sprouting plants and grasses, and gently flowing rivers. Adam, G-d's chosen king/priest, was called to cultivate the garden's fertile soil, to guard the sacred space from external enemies, and to rule over the Earth. After breaking covenant with YHWH, his king, Adam was banished to the field, a place of thorns and thistles, where he became a slave to the earth. The Temple Revealed in the Garden: Priests and Kings examines the Garden story from an ancient Near East perspective.

Sinai to Zion is an exciting study of how the Bible uses the Exodus story as the basis for its vision concerning the glorious and triumphant return of Jesus the Messiah. For the first time, this book presents a thorough examination of many often overlooked, yet critically important Old Testament texts that the Old Testament prophets and the New Testament authors looked to as describing the return of Jesus.

Most people - even people of faith - do not understand how the Bible fits together. Too many Christians accept half an inheritance, content to embrace merely the New Testament, while Jewish people may often experience the same by embracing only the Old Testament. But God has an intricate plan and purpose for both the Old and the New. In Mysteries of the Messiah, Rabbi Jason Sobel reveals the many connections in Scripture hidden in plain sight. Known for his emphatic declaration “but there’s more!” he guides us in seeing the passion and purpose of the Messiah.

In layered prose and with thoughtful, accessible scholarship, Aslan narrates the history of religion as one long and remarkably cohesive attempt to understand the divine by giving it human traits and emotions. According to Aslan, this innate desire to humanize God is hardwired in our brains, making it a central feature of nearly every religious tradition. As Aslan writes, "Whether we are aware of it or not, and regardless if we are believers or not, what the vast majority of us think about when we think about God is a divine version of ourselves."

Story
According to Sumerian scholar Zecharia Sitchin, a superior race of beings once inhabited our world. In The 12th Planet—the product of 30 years of intensive research—Sitchin persuasively argues that humanity sprang from extraterrestrial forebears. In this remarkable account, you'll hear the story of how these ancient visitors traveled to Earth from the stars and planted the genetic seed that would ultimately blossom into a remarkable species—the human being.

Story
Margaret Starbird's theological beliefs were profoundly shaken when she read Holy Blood, Holy Grail, a book that dared to suggest that Jesus Christ was married to Mary Magdalen and that their descendants carried on his holy bloodline in Western Europe. Shocked by such heresy, this Roman Catholic scholar set out to refute it but instead found new and compelling evidence for the existence of the bride of Jesus - the same enigmatic woman who anointed him with precious unguent from her "alabaster jar".
