Good book, awful Narration

Good book, well conceived. I listened to it all even tho at times the sing song silly narrative got on my nerves. I can't guess at what sort of accent the rising and falling sing song tones were supposed to represent.

There was no heat factor.... a bad narrative and I can't say if it's creditworthy since it's the narration that decides it in this case. Listen to the preview, perhaps several of this narrator in this genre, and decide then.

I have to say that I did actually stumble thru it rather than return it.

I hate to say it...

This narrator just didnt cut it for me. I had to keep replaying each line in my head, to clear the voice. Sorry, just not what i like.

God awful narration

The narrator kept giving Emily such horrible accents. At first I thought that Emily was supposed to be Italian, then some other weird accent. I had to stop listening before the first chapter was over.

Gr8 book

Love narrators that can change accents! The highlight for me was when the maid ran (supposedly to live) but tackled the crazed lunatic murderer & stabbed him, only thing it's idk if the maid lived or was arrested for killing him! Also, the mother of the bride to be... she was sinister as the man she was trying to force her daughter to marry!
