Backstory excitement!
This novella brings backstory to drama that was referred to in a previous book. The angst of a love triangle is always a tricky storyline but I think this one is done well. I really would have liked it to be longer (which I guess is a compliment to the author!). I look forward to reading more books in the series.
New to me narrator. I think she did a good job with multiple main characters. Will look for more of her work.

Another one out of the ballpark
I am in love with this series. I was hesitant about the triangle aspect but this was so beautifully done. I love that we are experiencing more and more turner stories. I also really loved the deeper incorporation of the Wardwell line highlighted (she has a series for them too that’s really good). I can’t wait to find out what is coming.
The narration has me split down the middle. There were some interesting timing choices and apparent editing issues. However, some of the emotion was absolutely nailed and the love scene was *chefs kiss*.

I really lived hearing Averys story. This explains more why she left Brandon standing at the alter on there wedding day. I have to say I never like him
