Publisher's summary

This is a murder mystery novel that takes place at Sliver Lake, North of Boston Massachusetts. Blake Rivers and his girlfriend Rose left Silver Lake for New Orleans a few years ago, he swore he would never come back. Hurricane Katrina hitting New Orleans has caused a separation between Blake and Rose. He has been looking for her in New Orleans for months. He knows it’s a long shot but thinks maybe she went back home to Silver Lake.

Upon his arrival to Silver Lake, he notices the new sign up ahead that reads, Welcome to Silver Lake. As he pulls up closer to the sign, he can see a police cruiser and a white sheet on the ground. The sheet has the word Human written on the side of it. There is red blood seeping through the sheet. It is confirmed coming back to Silver Lake is already a mistake, but there is no turning back now.

What a mystery!

Let me start by mentioning that this is the second audiobook by Gregg Matthews that I listen to, and I think I am becoming a fan!
Gregg writes in an easy way, where words flow without complication.
This story started with Blake Rivers searching for his girlfriend Rose after they got separated during hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. But then, with one twist, from the many twists that Gregg has in this audiobook, it turns into a murder mystery all while Blake is searching for Rose! You could not tell where the story was heading or what was going to happen next...
The story and the narration by Jimmy Moreland were so captivating that I didn't want to stop. I wanted to finish the whole story!
I would highly recommend this audiobook to anyone looking for a good mystery,

Amazing mystery

Besides that the book style was simple, easy, and very well expressed, the narrator did an outstanding job to draw my interest to listen to the whole story.
Hurricane Katrina caused the separation of two lovers, Blake and Rose. The story begins with Blake searching for Rose. Throughout his search, he unfolds other murder mystery of his childhood friend.
I would definitely recommend this audio book for all mystery lovers.
