Publisher's summary

Since the near-destruction of the Iron Hands, Raven Guard and Salamanders on Isstvan V, scattered warbands from these 'shattered Legions' have waged a guerrilla war on Horus' forces across the galaxy.

Now, the crew of the Sisypheum are drawn into a covert assault on a hidden Alpha Legion outpost - an assault orchestrated by none other than the infamous warleader Shadrak Meduson himself. But what does Meduson really hope to make from such a bold move against the sons of Alpharius, arguably the undisputed masters of deception?

Short and sweet!

I think anyone that reads about the Sisypheum’s crew will agree that they are some of the most interesting characters in all of Warhammer lore! This book was so fun to listen to and I found myself smiling many times! Keeble, as always, brings the characters to such incredible life! His Nykona voice in this book has become my favorite out of any in all of the series! I could not recommend this novella enough! Now, off to find more stories about Nykona and Sabik!

Totally Killer!!!

The action sequences are so vivid in the mind. The story alone is excellent, but the narration packs a punch. As with so many of these, I will listen several times more. I'm a helpless fan boy! Great action!

Love it

Great short book, and I love the readings done by Jonathan Keeble in the Black Library collection. I wish the book was longer and want more!

Do not skip!

Gotta love the 20th legion - this is a short but awesome read. The ending is fantastic! Absolutely worth your time. You also get to see a softer side of the 10th legion which is great.
