About this listen

Are you worried that your Second Amendment rights will be taken away?

Are you sick of patronizing politicians, celebrities, and media pundits claiming you don’t have the right to own guns?

Do you want to know the real story of the Second Amendment, so you can decide what it means for yourself?

The Second Amendment Manifesto is for you. In true stories stretching from ancient Greece to modern-day America, you’ll quickly discover how the Second Amendment came to be, why it’s worth protecting, and what you can do to defend it right now.

You’ll learn....

  • The real reason the Founding Fathers created the Second Amendment (it wasn’t for hunting deer).
  • The ancient Greek philosophy that led to the American right to bear arms.
  • The single biggest threat to your Second Amendment rights that almost no one knows about.
  • The three things you can do right now to save your constitutional right to bear arms (before you lose it forever).
  • How to buy and safely use guns, ammunition, and other “military” equipment to protect yourself, your community, and your country.
  • And more.

By the end, you’ll know more about the Second Amendment than most of your fellow Americans ever will - and a lot more than most politicians, lobbyists, and lawmakers.

So if you want to....

  • Understand your Second Amendment rights like never before
  • Discover why gun rights are worth fighting for
  • Learn what you can do right now to protect this “inalienable” right from the tendrils of tyranny and oppression

A Must Read

This book provides a great historical analysis of the origins of thought in the founding fathers as well as the Constitution, Bill of Rights and especially the 2nd Amendment. It will provide you with the best opposing arguments and how to refute them, as well as the best supportive arguments for gun rights.

It will also provide you with more resources on how to contact your representatives, what kit to buy, and how to further advocate on behalf of your right to keep and bare arms.

It’s an absolute must read.

Why the 2A is more important than you probably realize

A great book for someone who is pro or sympathetic to the 2A. The title might be off putting to someone indifferent

Very good history of second amendment

Overall I liked this audiobook especially the history of the second amendment with respect to its roots in English politics. Much of the work of Madison was new to me and sparked a greater interest in this founding Father. Some of the material is not the best format for an audiobook (lists and such) so I knocked it down a star. Another reason for the 4 star is that the often referred to website cannot be found (at least whenever I looked). Performance was great, I particularly like when the author does a good job reading their book, his oration was clear and easy to follow, even listening at X1.5. The story flowed well, and recommended civic actions were presented clearly. I liked that cultural references and quotes were up to date. This audiobook is really good for those in political life who are not gun owners and want to understand the no compromise passion of second amendment supporters.

Fantastic Read

This book was so much more than I expected. I didn't expect to get so much historical context going back far beyond the founding of the United States of America. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to understand more about the history of arms (gun) rights.
