800-CEO-Read's business book best seller

The definitive playbook for effective sales coaching, based on the proven principles of the Sandler Selling System.

There is no one-size-fits-all sales coaching model. There are only approaches that have been shown to be successful in particular situations. Acting as coach, the manager must identify each individual salesperson's personal "success code" and use that code to unlock the salesperson's potential for success. It is always up to the coach to choose the right approach for the salesperson and the situation. In this sense, effective sales coaching is a series of adjustments to particular people and circumstances.

This audiobook offers an overview of the sales coaching practices the best Sandler-trained sales coaches have found to be most effective over the past four decades, and a discussion of the situations where they are most likely to be useful.

Required reading for any sales manager committed to true professionalism

Bill Bartlett’s guide is a tool every legitimate sales manager should have on hand. Highly accessible, easily understood guidance and advice to help you guide your people to be their best and achieve all they can. This is not some highbrow textbook, written by a business school professor sitting in an ivory tower. To this day, Bill Bartlett continues to do precisely what he writes about in this book, with a long and storied history of success. Much of what Bill shares will not be brand new revelations, but more so, reminders of all that we should do but too often lose track of in our busy, hectic lives.

The question to ask, then, is if you’re committed enough to your own success that you’ll make the effort to become the very best manager and coach you can be for your people. If the answer is yes, utilizing The Sales Coach’s Playbook will undoubtedly land you in the top three or 5% of all managers.

Coaching made simple

Albert Einstein said, "the definition of genius is taking the complex and making it simple." Bill Bartlett did that in this book. It not only taught me how to be a better coach, but it reminded me of so many behaviors that I don't do anymore, that are simple. This book made me a better coach, but more importantly, it helped those I coach become more successful and happier! Thanks Bill!
