Narrator was bland but the studies were informative and the guides were well done. Not what I thought it was going to be going in but finished it with a newfound appreciation and hopes that the research can be commenced again. Very compelling. I'd recommend reading this over listening due to the narrator who was droll and boring.

I enjoyed learning the beneficial uses of psychedelics for the medicinal purposes and therapeutic purposes. on the other hand, it was somewhat hard to follow the graph results of the research done some of the numbers and such.

I am so thankful that psychedelics are being used in therapy today. I myself am going to ketamine therapy. I just wish we were starting so late with this movement overall.

If don’t own any books on the particular topic this is one of the best books you can start with. It’s informative, precise, and provides a plethora of harm reduction techniques! This is a must have for anyone’s book collection especially if it’s a psychedelic one!

I will buy the printed copy as I find the narrators performance to be distracting and inconsistent with the vitality of the subject.

Those new to psychedelic exploration will appreciate the emphasis on safety and raft of individual user experiences; others with an evidence-based focus will appreciate the book's comprehensive summaries of the psychedelic research that has taken shape over many decades.

I live in Colorado where magic mushroom use has been decriminalized.
This is an excellent book with great information.
People ought not jump into the psychedelic experience without a greater understanding of the details laid out in this book.
Particularly the emphasis on set and setting.
You have to prepare just like you would any other trip.
