Reader sounds ok but....

The reader does a decent job but once again pronounced words wrong!!! Why doesn’t somebody check these things?

One critique

I thought this was good, especially considering it's book 8? Pierce does request a lot of things in each book for back story, but its not terrible. The suspense want as intense as some previous books in the series, but the plot was still entertaining. The narrator was good, except she cannot pronounce 'incredulously!' Pierce used this word WAY TOO MUCH... which wouldn't have stood out as much if the narrator could say it correctly. Overall, the book moved Jessie Hunt's story along and I'm still planning on Redding the next one in the series.

I enjoy these books tremendously, but could the narrator of this one (and others) please, PLEASE learn how to pronounce the word "incredulously"?! Good grief 😫

Great Story - Narrator, fair

I love the Jessie Hunt books but the narrator makes them difficult to listen to because she mispronounces so many words. Sometimes she says the wrong words which should be obvious by the context and should have been easily caught by an editor or producer if they were listening. For example, at one point she says someone “was convinced of the murder of” instead of convicted of it.

I love the series but.,,.,,

This is a great series however, this book had a little too much going on that was not that believable for me. The social media postings. I don’t understand why she didn’t instantly change her password when it started happening instead of just letting it go on and on. The story with her ex-husband is becoming laughable because there’s like zero believability of that one for me, three I’m not crazy about this narrator.

Read and repeat

This book is so predictable that it’s annoying. Not sure if it was the performance or the actual story itself, but i kept questioning why I was still listening. I was sooooo glad when it was over.
