Story
A brand new lawyer and his young bride have returned from their honeymoon and are moving into their new high-rent apartment. In order to reach this "charming" dwelling, they must first climb six creaking flights of stairs. Once there, they find the place is absolutely bare of furniture, the paint job is all wrong, the skylight leaks, there is room for only one twin bed, and the wacky neighbors pop up at the worst times.

Story
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Story
This final play from the pen of Oscar Wilde is a stylish send-up of Victorian courtship and manners, complete with assumed names, mistaken lovers, and a lost handbag. Jack and Algernon are best friends, both wooing ladies who think their names are Ernest, "that name which inspires absolute confidence". Wilde's effervescent wit, scathing social satire, and high farce make this one of the most cherished plays in the English language.

Guy Montag is a fireman. In his world, where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. Montag never questions the destruction and ruin his actions produce, returning each day to his bland life and wife, Mildred, who spends all day with her television "family."

In Incident at Vichy, in Nazi-occupied France, nine men are detained under a shadowy pretext and face a terrifying fate.

A brand new lawyer and his young bride have returned from their honeymoon and are moving into their new high-rent apartment. In order to reach this "charming" dwelling, they must first climb six creaking flights of stairs. Good for a laugh
Not quite as good as the original and not nearly as good as the television series but still good nevertheless. A fun listen and great narration so, if your in the mood for a good laugh than give it a go.

Brilliantly funny, and the file is now fixed
Other reviews here note that the file is all jumbled up, with scenes out of order. This has now been fixed by an update, so buy this without fear!
It's a fabulous story of a slob and a neat freak who decide to live together when their marriages fail. Hilarity ensues. Nathan Lane is stellar as Oscar, a genius actor perfectly cast and having a lot of fun while he's at it.
Classic American comedy at its finest. Buy, laugh, and laugh some more ...

Scenes are not in order
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
What a waste! I bought this because I am in the play and I wanted it to help me learn my lines. But the scenes are not in order! It starts with the ending of Act 2 with the Pigeon Sisters, then jumps to Act 1 and then back to the Pigeon sisters. I called Audible and they said to delete it ant download it again. I did and it was the same.
Would you ever listen to anything by Neil Simon again?
No. Not if the scenes are not in order!
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Anger!
Any additional comments?

Scenes Out of Order and Abrupt Cuts
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The play is, I'm sure, good. The performances were stellar. But I've listened to this over and over again and even re-downloaded it again and it appears the scenes are out of order in places, characters leave in one scene and reappear mid-sentence after the chapter breaks, laughs from the audience cut off mid-laugh at a chapter break and clearly what comes next isn't a continuation, and so on. Something's wrong with the file that downloads.
Any additional comments?
I'd have loved to have heard this, but there are missing and out of order parts in the file.
