About this listen
In 1954, the United States was attacked by beings called Eban from another world. President Eisenhower was coerced into signing a treaty after we lost over 200 pilots in this initial strike. The government has managed to keep this treaty secret since and they became known as the "Greys." Part of the treaty forced the use of land for two alien bases. One is commonly called Area 51, and the other is somewhere in New Mexico. In the years to follow, animal mutilations, abductions, and UFO sightings became part of urban folklore.
More than 70 years pass and four high school seniors, accompanied by an air force officer, are thrown together to find themselves on the other side of the galaxy in a flying saucer. During the voyage, they meet another alien race called the Anunnaki who inform them of a plan the Greys have set into motion for an Earth invasion and that there are thousands of abducted humans on their home world in a would-be POW camp prison.
The only choice the band of humans have is to either risk it all to stop the invasion and save the people who were taken or try to inform the sitting president of the incoming forces. It’s a do or die kind of situation and either will determine the fate for mankind and Earth alike.

I could not get into this story
I only got an hour into the story and had to give up. Sorry but the story is not for me...I'm not giving much away because I could not get beyond an hour of the book, but what top secret facility allows 4 teenagers on the facility where an alien space ship is being stored and lets them fly away with the ship. And the narrator is horrible. He distracts from the story just having to listen to him tell the story....sorry but I had to save myself and give up on this book.

Entertaining feel good SciFi
This wasn't a bad scfi story, but felt very canned, group of unlikely high school students saves the universe. But still was fun to listen to, the narration could have used a little more energy in some places and less then others, but I would still recommend this book for younger listeners.

A creative story
This Audio book could be more suitable for younger listeners although many individuals of the older
persuasion could easily enjoy the creative and interesting story.

Oh Boy, What To Write
I honestly hated this book and the narration at first. Lots of things just did not make sense. I kept listening and somewhere along the way I thought it was not that bad. I know that is faint praise, but it is much better than the initial review I was planning. I really can't recommend the book, but some people might like it.

Frustrating to waist away a good credit
I stopped at chapter 8. While it is apparent the writing is OK at best, the chosen narrator is absolutely dreadful. It almost feels intentional that the narrator put emphasis on any word he could but the wrong one. Undulations in voice and what should have been emphasized parts were flat but mundane conversations were over emphasized. I felt like the book was being narrated by a Canadian version of my 12 year old son.

nice
the story was nice and it was good I wouldn't call it a captivating one but it was solid and well written.. the narrator was nice I would have changed the almost surprised voice of one of the characters but overall it was good and I liked it

Not for me.
This type of book is the thing I love to read/listen too. However, there were somethings that I found difficult to believe and because of that I did not feel any connection with the characters.
If you can get passed the fact that teenagers were able to get into the base (lack of security which is unbelievable) and get into an alien ship and fly it, then this book is for you.
The book has potential I just think there are somethings that could have been explained or written a different way.

Wooden Narration and trite, simplistic story
I couldn’t get through it. I can’t understand the good reviews. I received this book for free (sure glad I did) and wanted to leave a review.
