Really would have liked the PDF file ...

If you could sum up The New Sugar Busters! in three words, what would they be?

The book and concepts of the book are great does jump around so I purchased the book so I can jump to the chapters.. I would recommend buying the book as the PDF file for the book is no where to be found, I called Audible Support but they seemed Lost to the whole thing, I have never seen PDF.. It was referenced a lot..

What other book might you compare The New Sugar Busters! to and why?

Interesting reading this and Wheat Belly back to back..

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Fine

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Don't eat less Eat better.

Any additional comments?

Just needed the PDF.. that would have been nice..

Where is the PDF supplement of the book?

The narrator mentioned multiple times about the PDF supplement that comes with the book, but I can't find it anywhere!

Dramatic drop in Sugar and weight.

Would you listen to The New Sugar Busters! again? Why?

I would listen to Sugar Busters again because I know there is much that I have not retained. I found the book to be a wonderful source of needed info as how to take control of my recently diagnosed Diabetes.

What other book might you compare The New Sugar Busters! to and why?

I do not know of any other books to compare Sugar Busters to.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Nothing to write home about , but he did an effective job as narrator.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes because of the information I was getting.

Any additional comments?

In 4 weeks, by following Sugar Busters, I have dropped 21 pounds and lowered my fasting Sugar rate from 221 to 88. And that is with being allowed by my doctor to not take the medication he prescribed. In one month time my Ac1 score went from 9.2 to 7.9, and I know on my next test it will continue to go down as it is an average over several months.I would recommend the book to anyone that is interested in loosing weight and or drop their sugar levels. I have not felt deprived with my new eating habits, removing sugar is not that hard when you can eat most other non white foods. As soon as I get my Ac1 down to 5.6 I will no longer consider myself Diabetic, what a wonderful thought.

Good information, very text-bookish

Would you try another book from the authors and/or Dick Hill?

I would another book by the authors. The narrator sounded very arrogant to me. I did not like listening to him.

Would you be willing to try another book from the authors? Why or why not?

Yes

Would you be willing to try another one of Dick Hill’s performances?

No.

Did The New Sugar Busters! inspire you to do anything?

I listened to this book with great interest and got a lot out of it. However, the narrator sounded very arrogant and I found listening to him very difficult. The information is good if you can stick with it.

Missing important PDF download document.

What disappointed you about The New Sugar Busters!?

There's no PDF download document. The book constantly references important charts and tables that Audible doesn't provide. I wrote to Audible and they said the publisher is not providing it.

Would you recommend The New Sugar Busters! to your friends? Why or why not?

No. No PDF document. Some of the stuff is outdated. But the basic premise is good. Sugar is bad.

What three words best describe Dick Hill’s voice?

OK.

What character would you cut from The New Sugar Busters!?

n/a

Any additional comments?

Take the book off Audible until the publisher provides the PDF document for download.

This could have been an article or series of articles

Lots of fluff! Multiple repeatings of the same concept and teasers that leave the reader disappointed once the “teased” topic is finally presented

Get the book.

The audio version is just a long, boring and sometimes snarky lecture about how stupid Americans are and how smart are the authors are.
The PDF required to accompany this is almost 100 pages. That was a burden on me and my printer.
I pay double for this audio version when they printed copy would’ve been superior.

Out of date and out of breath

The information seems to be out of date and contradictory ( advising to consume "light" dairy which we all know means higher sugar), as well as stating that there is no negative evidence against the use of aspartame.
I wanted to like the expressive narration but he continually seemed to be running out of breath.
This book was defiantly not for me.
