About this listen

Charlotte Ames despises hotheads. You know the type. It's the growly, perma-scowling bully who blows his top at the slightest inconvenience. And her former boss, Top Chef Mitch Elliott, is the king of all hotheads.

How big of a jerk is he? Big enough to make her hurl a salad at the guy.

Those vegetables didn’t ask to be strewn across the floor. But Mitch deserved it!

Is he devastatingly handsome when he loses his cool? Could his stormy blue eyes, flashing with passion, melt the panties right off a gal? That would be a yes. Still, she can’t stand him. And she’d thought she’d seen the last of the culinary creep.

She was wrong.

On the cusp of eviction and with five bucks to her name, she needs a job.

Enter the exclusive Nanny Match Agency and an opportunity to make some real cash.

Sounds great, right? Wrong again!

The universe has one messed-up sense of humor. When she wakes up after a margarita bender and learns she’s become the hothead’s nanny, life goes topsy-turvy! But when the nanny dust settles, she sees another side of the man. A man who might be more than a hothead. A man who gazes at her with such intensity, she can barely keep from combusting.

Don’t fall for the hotheaded chef.

Her head knows what to do. If only she could convince her heart.

Could this nanny match be the match that changes everything, or will it get too hot in the kitchen for the nanny and the hothead?

Mister Cheesy Forever!

Another gem from Krista. The hothead chef, mitch, has always had eyes for the redheaded Charlotte but his temper had Charlotte throw a salad at him. Charlotte down in her luck needed a new job fast. Cue up Madelyn and the Nanny match services. Charlotte matches with Mitch, when unexpectedly becomes sole guardian of his son when his son’s mother dies. There is a insta-spark and a but of enemy to lovers story. Oscar is hilarious and provides the connection between the two.

This story made me chuckle so many times. It is such a sweet story. Mitch and Charlotte’s chemistry slow burns until it’s hot! Monica King is a new to me narrator and I really enjoyed her performance.

Couldn't stop listening!

A hothead chef who let's his past define him. A down on lucky photographer who believes in "Mr Cheesy Forever",
An adorable head strong little boy who has to deal with life altering changes

I loved book one, and book two didn't disappoint. The character growth in this book was amazing.

Mitch is definitely a hothead, who is unwilling to open his heart again and has a short fuse. Charlotte is down on luck but still believes in the best of everyone. 99% nice and 1% mean, and who better to be mean to the Mr Hothead himself. Oscar is Mitch's son and is such a strong little boy, who just needs love.

This book will melt your heart and keep you laughing. Definitely a must read/listen!

If Gordon Ramsay wasn't married

Yeah so I think the hero for this one is based on Gordon Ramsay but like a younger, single dad who meets has a HEA with his hot temp nanny or maybe all celebrity chefs are hot headed shouty alpha males?
Anywho, I still loved it and I love that these are full, long books that are paced nicely although after reading the first book, parts were a bit predictable and followed a bit if a formula but again I still loved it and am on to book 3. Fingers crossed

I Loved EVERY Second!

Wonderful! Just Wonderful! I loved every second of this one! The author did it again! I fell for these three! They made me laugh and I enjoyed both of their professions. I mean a chef..one that is grumpy all the time and seeks perfection from others..how could I resist? Then the people pleaser photographer who changes her ideals for others…but doesn’t put up with the grump. I LOVED the whole “say cheese louise” and the “Mr Cheesy forever” ideas that these characters worked with throughout.

I liked that we got to see the couple Rowan, Penny and Phoebe from the first book numerous times. They added laughs and fun times and I would tell Phoebe that oatmeal cookies do count a breakfast. Haha!

This author does an amazing job weaving her story and putting in little details then rounding everything at the end. I eagerly look forward to the next and to see what magic the author can produce. I listened to this on audio and Monica King is the amazing narrator. She did a wonderful job and leveled this up!

Another easy listen for these enemies to lovers!

The 2nd book in the Nanny Match series and it took me on a rollercoaster journey that was so unique and captivating! From throwing a salad at her boss’s head, to working on her photography, to becoming a nanny for her ex-boss..it’s a storyline that was so enjoyable. We found out in book 1 that Charlotte and Mitch Elliot would be matched together for the nanny service and I just had to know more! It was a secret we knew as the readers, but the characters did not. The beginning of the book lays out a lot of background for each character before their first meeting. It’s a book that I swore would be enemies to lovers until I got to that male POV when he sees Charlotte for the first time since she threw the salad at him. Right then, I was a goner for Mitch Elliot. When a guy has a secret attraction and sweetness towards a girl I’m swooning! My perspective immediately changed and I could not wait to dive more into this story more! The journey of Charlotte, Mitch Elliot and his son Oscar is such a beautiful story that is swoon worthy, entertaining, adorable, heart breaking and romantic all at the same time! They are just two people who have been shaped from their pasts but are now in this forced proximity

“In a world where he saw darkness, her touch lifted the veil and gave him a glimpse of the light.” Krista’s way with words for Mitch’s character had me swooning page after page as he described Charlotte throughout the book. SO GOOD!

Monica King continues to do a magnificent job narrating this series! Her voice has so much feeling and emotion that makes it an enjoyable listen. She also continues to have the best voices for each different character as they match perfectly to who she is portraying. Her voice for Oscar was so adorable too!

A Delightful Gem of a Story! Awesome Narration🎧

Krista Sandor pens another wonderfully delightful romantic comedy set in her “Nanny Love Match” series, each book features different lead characters, a wealthy male guardian and a nanny that was found thru an exclusive and high-end matchmaking agency. Madeline, the matchmaker, who is an absolute riot, seems to know everything and what is best for her clients. Charlotte Ames lost her job working at a restaurant after bonking heads with her boss, Celebrity Top Chef Mitch Elliott, who she dubbed as a hothead because of his bullying ways. She is juggling a few other jobs, but it is not making ends meet and making matters even worse is she is about to lose her apartment. With perfect timing, she gets a job offer from the Navy Match Agency, despite never being a nanny, but the pay is great and would be a tremendous help in getting her feet back on the ground. Mitch’s life went to crap a few years ago, and he has been struggling since, and with the passing of the mother of his son, his life takes another turn. He becomes a single dad of a boy he barely knows, a boy who is not his biggest fan, his son Oscar. I adored Oscar, from the moment he appeared in a book, and what an entrance he made, he is definitely a scene stealer, and wise beyond his years. I loved how everything played out in this book, from how Mitch and Charlotte’s first interaction when she was sober, to how they got to know each other and how they bonded with themselves and with Oscar. The plotting, world building and character growth is fantastic. There is never a dull moment in this book and it will definitely put a smile on your face. The story is entertaining and has a perfect balance of drama, angst, humor and witty dialogue, heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Krista Sandor, thank you for another amazing story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Monica King delivers another fabulous performance of bringing these characters and story to life. She has a complete understanding of the characters she is portraying, gives each a voice that suits that character and is believable in every role she plays. Her take on Charlotte was spot-on, grasping every side of her personality, from her wit to her vulnerabilities to her determination and to her caring side. She did the same for Mitch, grasping his angst, his intensity, broodiness and his hotheaded attitude, as well as his own vulnerabilities. She was just as fabulous covering the roles of the secondary characters too, and her children's voices were amazing. King handles the witty dialogue with ease, and lands the humor effortlessly. You could hear how much heart she put into her work as she captures all the character’s emotions and has you feeling every single one. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.
