Laura Frantz is wonderful at weaving a story that totally keeps you engrossed, and this one does not disappoint. The characters are well developed and interesting and the story has a great plot and some twists and enough romance to keep the listener engaged. It’s clean and faith based. The narrator does a great job too with enough distinction between the voices so that the listener knows which character it’s coming from. Worth a credit for sure!

Mistress of Tall Acre is a good story, but it’s not great. Good reference to Christian thoughts. Kind of slow. But I am glad I finished it. I think it just needed a deeper plot.

Aimee Lilly did a brilliant job narrating this engaging historical fiction. Her voice was very clear and pleasant to listen to and her character voices were great. The thing that I think I enjoyed most about listening to this wonderful story is that the narrator’s pace always matched the pace of the action especially during the suspenseful portions. Laura Frantz has penned to a tale full of strife yet also hope. Listening to the audio book brought an added enjoyable layer to the book. I was given a copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

It was well written I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I wanted to listen to find out what would happen so it didn't take long to listen to the whole story. I have to say that the reader was outstanding with changing her voice for each character even the accents. I will definitely be getting another book by this author. I pray that you have gotten the same reader.

This book is charming, full of longing.. then anguish, then joy, Actually joy throughout. If you do not cry, your heart of heart. It's truly a book about having faith. Pretty sure it's my favorite book!

I have long awaited this wonderful novel to be made into an audiobook;) Can not say enough good!! Have listened to it now multiple times! Laura Frantz is gifted writer & I am do thankful for her talent & for using her talent to in such a way that encourages & draws us closer to our Lord:)
