Excellent book and series!

Great story and very well written. Fun in parts a wee bit repetitive in others.

ENJOYED IT

Although this is the third book of a series I had not read or listened to the preceding books but started with this one. You can definitely listen to this story as a stand alone as the characters of Tucker and Sarah are well rounded and the story is told in such a way that you don't need to know anymore than the author tells you.

Sarah moved away to go to college to train to become a doctor. Tucker, the youngest of three boys was her childhood best friend. Tucker always wanted to be free to travel and not be tied down on the family ranch with his brothers.

After Sarah becomes a doctor she stays away from her hometown of Fort Worth and starts a practice in Tombstone. Tucker comes to Tombstone but by this time he has a reputation as a fast gun. He is beaten at the draw and nearly dies. Sarah saves his life and they have one night of passion but Tucker leaves while she is still sleeping.

Three years later Sarah is called home to Fort Worth by Tucker's mother who tells her that her grandfather is sick and dying. She comes home accompanied by her two year old son to find that Tucker is now the Marshal of Fort Worth, has he changed? Will he stay in one place?

The story in this book is about how, when or even if they will both stop fighting the attraction/love they feel for each other and come together.

I thoroughly recommend this book. The narrator does a wonderful job and the story just keeps on moving along.
