Story comes to life
i have the physical copy, and after listening to the voice actor tell Seth’s story its really brought it to life. Super excited for L. A. Thornhill to bring her other stories to life soon.

A Search for a Sibling
The Lost Descendants by L.A. Thornhill is a prequel novella to her fantasy novel The Prophetess of Arden.
While this is technically a prequel it works just as well if you read the novel first since they over lap quite a bit.
The Novella follows Seth Hal-Titus as he over comes enemy occupations and creepy wraith like Safes, in his quest to find his sister Hadassah.
I actually appreciated the novella's approach to organic world building versus the novel's direct exposition. (a common portal fantasy problem, since the transported character has no idea what's going on.)
The narrator, Magnus Carlsen is a superb voice actor. I always enjoy his narration as he has a way with accents and emotional beats.
