About this listen
The Aldens visit Ireland and stay in a beautiful castle that's now a hotel! But the caretaker seems very superstitious, and at night they see a mysterious figure who walks the halls carrying a lantern. Could it be one of the banshees of ancient legend? Very good
Love the history lesson at the end . I think the narrator was fine and the voices do not sound like Sesame Street.

Dreadful narrator!
The narration largely ruined this book for us. Having previously listened to a BC book by Phyllis Newman, we probably had super high expectations. The voices are like Sesame Street characters--this is not a compliment! Dreadful, forced, and unbelievable. The story was ok, but might have been better.
