About this listen

Julia is married and eight years Julian's senior; he is a gifted English student, a life of academia ahead. Ignoring warnings, they both give up all they have to be together. When Julian hears that his boyhood home is for sale, he sets out to recreate a paradise for his new family.

It is only when their daughter, Mira, becomes terrifyingly ill that it is impossible for Julia to conceal the explosive secret that she has been keeping from him.

Careful

In the first 5 minutes of this book I was subjected to the phrase "the rabbit's screaming seemed to go on forever". Again I would like to beg other novelists to understand that these type of visuals are unnecessary and add nothing to the story. I can't continue with this book due to the picture it leaves me with.
