Great Book on How to Intentionally Craft your Life as an Engineer
I loved how Jeff offers frameworks and lens with which to measure your impact, joy, and fulfillment with your engineering profession. Are you doing work you hate? What future are you building?
Could you do work that better aligns with your personal values, natural strengths, and others genuine needs? This work is what you would call your genius zone. Are you operating in yours?
Craft a career where you flourish. Read Jeff’s book today to find out how.

Exactly what engineers need today
I'm not aware of any other book that is so relevant for modern engineers and technology professionals. It's packed with relevant ideas and action items/activities that can help us make huge progress personally and professionally.
Listen to the book, then take the recommended actions. You'll be glad you did.

An excellent resource for an engineer transitioning between jobs or industries
Jeff’s book on being intentional has changed my self assessments and enabled me to reflect on my experiences better. Started journaling and using the 5 why’s and really delved into my intentions, desires, and goals. Highly recommend a read or listen.

Excellent - All engineers should read this!
Love this book from Jeff Perry!
My favorite chapter was "Shift Your Mindset to Change Your Life". It opened my eyes to see that behavioral changes are great but if they are not accompanied by changes in the way I think (about work, myself, my future, etc.), I will not be able to make lasting progress
Also loved the real-life examples throughout the book! You can tell Jeff is someone who has put this into practice and gotten results for those who work with him
Would recommend this for any engineer who wants to improve their outlook or position in their career
P.S. Make sure to do the exercises in the book to get the most out of it!

Great Synthesis of a lot of information
I'm definitely more familiar with the material than the target audience. I've read most of the primary works that he references and have run through many of the exercises in the past. I still got a lot out this book with how Jeff builds the models together and weaves the information into actionable steps that build to an INTENTIONAL plan.

This book is written in a very helpful and logical way to improve your career and satisfaction with your work life. It could be beneficial to other professionals - not just engineers. It’s a definite read if thinking of a job or career change.
