Publisher's summary

Is turning a haunted mansion into a bed-and-breakfast such a good idea? Sean and his family think so, except for Avery, who believes guests will be scared away by disembodied voices, candles that light themselves, and the ghostly reenactment of the notorious Graymoor ax murders.

When the gay boys of Verona went their separate ways, Verona was more at peace than it had been in ages. Skye, the local champion of gay boys, has been gone for five long years, however, and much has changed in his absence. Sean and Nick lived apart during their college years. They've eagerly anticipated their reunion, but what will happen when Ross, the drummer for Phantom, comes to stay at Graymoor with the band?

Is Nick over his Ross obsession - or is there trouble ahead? Jordan and Ralph have long considered starting a family, but can they surmount the obstacles that stand in their way?

The gay boys of Verona, old and new, are together once again.

I love Mark A Roeder books, but this Narrator...

The book is great, I love Mark A Roeder books, especially Graymoor stories... However, this narrator totally SUCKS... He should not be used at all, sounds like he has MUSH in his mouth. If this was not a Mark A Roeder book, I would return it for a refund.

I personally would terminate contracts with this narrator and have someone else re-record this book. I do not like to complain, but this guy is horrible. I apologize for a bad review, but something has to be said here.

Good story, Terrible narrator

The narrator is really bad. He runs sentences together and mostly speaks in a monotone. Very had to tell which character is speaking. The story is pretty good if you can tolerate the narrator and get through it.

The Reader could be better

I have read this book, and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, it sounds like the reader doesn’t have his dentures in, and I think it would just be more enjoyable if read by someone a bit younger.

Narrator was not the best choice

While I am sure this narrator has a place among Audible books, this was not the book. Also, Mark tells too many plots in this book, which is unusual as he typically has two per book.

A B&B

I have loved all the stories of Verona with each new book you get a little bit more of the story and a different view of the past I would recommend this book to anybody who likes the Verona series it's a very good addition

Almost Impossible to Finish

Unfortunately, the narrator of this book is really really bad. I don't want to sound mean, but he sounds like he forgot to put his teeth in before recording. He has no cadence at all. He moves from saying 6 words in 2 seconds to very awkward and unnatural pauses in the middle of sentences (in spots where there should not be a pause) and all of this makes it very difficult to understand what is being read.

The story itself isn't all that great either. It seems like it was meant to be a way of bringing as many of the old characters back as possible and it doesn't really work. This is a shame because I love the concept of The Graymoor Mansion so I was kind of excited to listen to this book. Unfortunately, the Graymoor story line takes a back seat to all of the boys having sex every 3 pages, exclaiming their love for each other, and for some very odd reason, 2 of them traveling the mid-west to announce that the are having a child.
