As the bodies drop, Savage must team with an FBI agent who's been hunting him for several years. These violent sprees occur in remote locations and always begin at the start of winter, thus earning him the nickname The Frost Killer.

Can Savage outsmart the hunter who's made the town his hunting ground? Or will he and his family be the next victims of The Frost Killer's chilling spree?

Thrilling

Being a huge fan of L.T. Ryan's Rachel Hatch series, I fell in love with the character of Dalton Savage early. I thought Rachel and Dalton made an unstoppable pair. But, authors have other plans, and Dalton Savage was gifted a series of his own. It's a great series because Savage is such a complex and engaging character. But I must admit that I keep thinking Rachel Hatch is going to walk back into his life and storyline.

Regardless of love interests, I still enjoy the tales of Sheriff Savage and his deputies as they do their best to keep the citizens of their small community safe. This particular novel has some brain-melting twists as the story unfolds, keeping the readers on their toes, as all of Ryan's novels tend to do.

If you're a fan of law enforcement/former military thrillers with well-written storylines and complicated characters, don't miss this series. And if you like this one, be sure to hop over to the Rachel Hatch series as well, where readers were first introduced to Dalton!

I love the way the writer's keep you hanging on. The twist and turns the story takes, the things that happen you don't see coming. Very good read.

How did no one catch that they kept mistaking hypothermia and hyperthermia? From writing, editing, rewriting, recording, and editing said recording no one stopped and thought that it was weird that people were dying of heat exposure and not freazing to death. This isn't a mistake I see people that are from winter areas making.

1 thing bothered me more than it probably should have.
