It offers reflective counsel, real-to-life stories, and practical suggestions for forming and maintaining deep friendships. Learning about myself, building connections
I was surprised how much I learned about myself while listening to this wonderful book. I have never been great at meaningful relationships with women. I get along with men better, probably all my time in the military. I found this book to be enlightening and so insightful. I have a better understanding of how and what it takes to make connections with people. I hope to continue to grow personally, leading to female friends.

Made Me Rethink How I Show Up for My Friends
Listening to this felt like having an honest convo with a wiser, no BS friend. It didn’t sugarcoat stuff, and that’s what I appreciated most. Some parts hit close, like how hard it can be to build real friendships as an adult. I caught myself nodding a lot and even messaged an old friend mid-way through.

Really Hit Home
This topic was so relatable for me. I've had some really good friendships in the past that ended badly, which has made it hard to build new ones. What hit home was how easily we all feel we are connected to people with social media, but really there's a major disconnect. After listening to this book, I feel better prepared to find new and nurturing friendships. It's given me the drive to make it happen. Because it's true—women need meaningful female connections.

A thoughtful audiobook
I gave this Audiobook as a gift to my girlfriend, and it turned out to be one of the nicest presents I've given. She listened to it on her daily walks and continued to share tiny pearls and insights with me along the way. Hearing it told made the message feel even more personal, as if it were a conversation with a wise, encouraging friend.
She found the stories quite realistic and appreciated how they combined technical guidance with genuine, emotional situations. It spurred some interesting talks between us and reminded us of the need of good, supporting friendships, especially for women in today's environment.
This audiobook was not simply a listen; it was an experience. If you're searching for something meaningful, powerful, and emotionally moving to share with someone you care about, The Friendship Code is ideal.

Finally, Real Talk About Adult Friendships
Making and keeping close female friends in adulthood isn’t something we really get taught—and honestly, I was feeling kind of lost. This helped me see that I wasn’t the only one struggling with distance, busy schedules, or unspoken tension in long-standing friendships. I loved the part about showing up authentically and managing expectations. I’ve already applied a few of the strategies with two women in my life, and the conversations have gone deeper and felt more intentional. It’s made me feel less alone, and more equipped to nurture the friendships I value most.
