This book, along with another book written by the author, titled The Four Foundations of Golf, have helped my game immensely. Admittedly, I wasn't expecting self improvement lessons to be included in this text, but there they are. Applying any of the principles of this book will help your golf game. They will also flow over naturally into day-to-day life. I am now happier, more grateful, and more satisfied on and off the course. Thank you, John Sherman.

If you’re looking for a high level perspective on how to approach the game of golf and improve your overall experience and enjoyment of the game, then this book is a great resource. The author does not delve into the detailed mechanics of the golf swing, but rather serves as a mentor with good advice on how to take the ups and downs of the golf-learning experience. There is high-level advice on the most important aspects and how you should allocate your time. The chapters are well organized and presented in a crisp and concise manner. The author’s narration is clear and engaging.

Has helped me take my game to the next level

Played golf my whole life, traditional and 10-12 hcp. last summer I broke 80 more times than I have in my life by double a PB. The only difference in prep, practice or coaching was listening to this book in the spring. I still have plenty of bad rounds but In listening to this, I was able to capitalize when I was hitting it well

Had to leave a review, I was excited for this one. Just didn’t live up to the hype I created around it. The first book is great! And I still listen to it, think it’s just hard to come back after that one. This one feels like it’s missing something

Not as impactful as the first book

Original book was excellent and a great resource. This book felt a bit forced or at a minimum is geared towards high single digit players looking to play more competitively. Some of the mental frameworks mentioned are off-base for elite amateur / professional players. Certainly respect his love and appreciation for the game.
