About this listen
The Farmer’s Code takes you on a hero’s journey of self-development. It follows a path of transformation and growth to help you become your true, highest self. This journey will lead to a greater understanding of the self and a deeper connection to one’s own values and core principles, which paves the way for a long-lasting legacy.
Legacies provide a roadmap for future generations, showing those who follow your footsteps what is possible as they strive to reach their full potential. Filled with personal stories of the struggles and triumphs of one American farming family, the Code shows how legacies are about more than just personal fulfillment. They can have a profound impact on the lives of others by serving as a guiding light to those who are seeking a better way to live. Just as airline passengers are instructed to see to their own oxygen masks first in the event of an emergency before helping others, legacy building has to start with the self. When you are safe, secure, and strong, you are in a much better position to turn outward to help others. It is then that you can help address societal challenges, advance knowledge and innovation, promote social change, or support the important causes you see in your community.
The Farmer’s Code should spark aspirations, ignite passion, and encourage everyone to strive for greatness. By considering the lasting impact you can make, you will be able to live more purposefully and leave a more positive imprint on the world.

A well-thought-out self/business development book
Mike Young’s book “The Farmer’s Code” is a well-thought-out self/business development book. I I loved how Mike incorporated his faith, biblical examples, personal stories, struggles, and sense of humor throughout the book.
Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for inspiration or encouragement to become their authentic, highest self or to build a legacy. Thank you Mike for sharing such valuable insights and keys to success!

Each person can make a difference develop your code.
Mike C. Young The Farmers Code through stories, and scripture in the Bible provides insight on how he and his family have developed a code to live by-but more importantly, leadership lessons, that each of us can use to develop our own code.

Outstanding book
I wasn’t looking for a self-help book, but I found one at a crucial time in life. Very informative and inspirational. Going to purchase a few more copies for clients.

Personal Growth from A Family Man
I’ve been reading personal growth for a long time. Generally, they are all very similar. They all have their own flare but typically hold to the same truths. The Farmer’s Code was no exception.
However…this one came from a FAMILY man. That’s something I haven’t seen before. Many give lip service to prioritizing one’s family, but few truly prioritize them as they should.
Thank you, Chris for writing this!

Heroic Review for Heroic Tale
This book was sponsored for any agriculture searches as the first thing you see on google. It has nothing to do with Ag…
Also for a self help book all he does is state the obvious. All while quoting smarter people than himself. Especially funny after having giving up his dreams of being a political puppet because Grandpa said so.
Don’t. Waste. Your. Time.
