My kid loved this!
This is a cute story about conquering bad dreams, with a fun side story of a cat. My kiddo doesn't normally stay interested in audiobooks for too long, but Carrie's (the reader) voice is very enthusiastic, and expressive, and really drew him in. He listened like 3 times in a row or something haha. Highly recommend for kids!

A fun children's story
Having read and/or listened to several of Christopher Francis' books, I have come to love his story-telling abilities. He has a way of drawing you into each story so that, before you realize it, you've read or listened to the entire thing - even if you hadn't planned on doing so. The Dream Catcher Rescue Squad is certainly no exception. After finishing this story, I am definitely looking forward to continuing the series with the next book.
Abigail has been having bad dreams and doesn't want to fall asleep, because every time she does, she has a bad dream. Not to fear, though! She has a dream hoop (that's a dream catcher to humans), and the Dream Catcher Rescue Squad can use that to enter Abigail's dream and help her. But, Paisley is new to the squad and still in training; she's been working with Destiny, but she has to help Abigail on her own!
Will Paisley be able to help Abigail? And will she be able to do it in time, before the Moon Drifters succeed in their plan? Oh, yeah. And just what does Abigail's grouchy cat have to do with the story?
Each of these questions will be answered in this fun children's story about a group of fairy-like people (creatures?) who help make sure that children's dreams are happy and remembered. Though a short story, it still has a pretty solid storyline. After all, we've all had dreams where we're falling, but for someone who's also afraid of heights, it could be pretty scary. I also really liked the inclusion of the cat.
Also, since this is an audiobook, I would be remiss if I didn't address the narration. Carrie Drovdlic did a wonderful job with the narration. Her voice was absolutely perfect for this story, and I think any child would enjoy listening to it.

It is really cute for a kids story
It is short and for kids, which is a turnoff to some and if you fit the bill dont get the book. However as far a whimsical dream journey books go this has a good lesson for kids, a pretty good narration, and at least a pinch of deeper storyline. I really enjoyed it.
