As a scientific pioneer principally devoted to the study of electricity, Tesla’s passion and knowledge bleed through every word in this lecture given on the Occasion of the Commemoration of the Introduction of Niagara Falls Power in Buffalo at the Ellicot Club on January 12, 1897. He starts by applauding the trend of artists and men of different educational backgrounds to show an ever growing interest in the electrical and physical sciences and truth available in the studies of the day.

In this text written for The Electrical Experimenter, Tesla shows himself to be the real "Father of the Wireless". He fully discredits the Hertz theory and explains that the real Hertz waves die out even after traveling a short distance. He expands further on the reactions of this theory he felt has held strength for too long and introduces his own revolutionary alternative.

Nikola Tesla believed the universe was never bound to spiritual or natural laws, but is in essence a machine where we are but a mere part of. In this 1915 text Tesla applies the mechanical theory of life to the greater events of the time such as the war and the earthquake in Italy. He states that the man as a machine is joined in a universal wheelwork that feeds cosmic disturbances to our world and as a result introduces calamities that are, in the great scheme of things, not at all arbitrary but interconnected.

Inventor and scientist Nikola Tesla believed in the existence of life on other planets. One night in his laboratory in the Colorado mountains, he noted electronic signals that he deduced came from intelligent life on another planet. While we have still not been able to prove the existence of alien life, Tesla’s article from 1901 provides an arresting look at the possibility of interplanetary communication.

His article "The Problem of Increasing Human Energy" (June 1900) is a philosophical study of the nature of mankind's relationship to the universe, with scientific extrapolations on how technological advancement might contribute to that understanding.
