About this listen

What waits at the galaxy’s core?

Joe has begun to realize the full extent of his powers as a Shiva Knight. But the foe he faces is ancient and cunning.

It’s a race to the center of the galaxy between Joe and the ruthless bot-man, Fairfax.

The enemy’s armies are legion.

But for Joe, it’s not about survival anymore. It’s about saving everything he holds dear.

Even if it means paying with his life.

This wasn’t as good as the first two, mostly because it was short, felt rushed.

Good but short

Book 3 moves the story forward quite a bit and along the way broadening Joe's personality and perspective. I found this subtle humanization and maturation of Joe the primary theme of the story. While the science elements were on the fantastical side, they were still an integral and entertaining part of the book.

I would have rated it full 5 by 5s except for a couple of huge loose ends that were intentionally left that way to possibly be explored later with a book 4?

Lots of loose ends revealed, some left dangling

Some interesting ideas on the evolution of society, packaged up in a well told story with well thought out characters. I enjoyed the narrator's performance as well. Half of the reason for leaving the review is so that I follow up on the next book (loosing track of what is good and what's not in my library) ;-)

Interesting ideas, compelling story

How long will the next book in the series be? 5 hours?
book 1 = 11 hours, book 2 = 9 hours, & book 3 = 7 hours so... how many minutes for book 4 (assuming there is one).
Also.. anyone tipping M. Boyett, so he can get some voice coaching for sustaining the voices of female characters?

I did enjoy the story -- looking forward to another book, but I won't waste a credit if it's another short version.

How many minutes?

story rips a bit off of the matrix and reamde, but I suppose everything about simulated people would. I'm hoping there's at least a fourth book though. kind of an open ending.

story was good, narration was great

I really really really hope there is either a book 4-6 or a continuation of the series. Like if Harm continues the story as she grows older and deals with the aftermath of what is left behind. 🙌🏻👌🏻🤞🏻 amazing book guys.

Hoping for more

Loved it. I listened to the entire After The Galaxy series and was thoroughly entertained for the entire ride. Thank you Scott Bartlett.

Entertained again

That is about all I can say. A tremendous letdown from the previous series’ of titles.

Sophomoric

The narrator is very good, but I cannot always follow the game play story. The plot was interesting enough to follow through the three books, but disappointedly was left unresolved without any feeling that there would be a favorable resolve.
