Feels like it was written by a teenager
I’ve looked up the author before writing a review just to make sure it is not in fact a teenager who wrote it. It wasn’t so I’ll be a bit harsh.
The writing style reminds me of the school writing class - same words used multiple times in one sentence, same sentences repeated twice in a row. On multiple occasions I’ve skipped back to double-check that it wasn’t a lag in recording. Sad sad sad.
To author’s credit - the idea behind the story is quite exciting and even got me to pre-order the book before release. The narration is also decent.
