Publisher's summary

The Cat Who Lost His Meow is based on a true story that includes the love and loss of a beloved pet who had a profound effect on his family. Over 21 1/2 years, a little gray cat named Perry showed unconditional love to his human, even while that human married, added a cat-brother named Figaro, and adopted blond-haired Amelia. Even as he grew old and lost his meow, Perry was integral to his family until the very end an honest lesson in life for children and adults alike.

Cute and a bit sad

This story starts off very cute and the narrator does a good job with keeping her voice very positive and friendly through out the whole book. It does get sad towards the end, not in a bad way, but it is still sad.

This would be a great book to share with a kid to start the discussion of family members, friends, or beloved pets passing. Love the narrator's tone through the whole book. Very pleasing to listen to with a tough subject matter.

Would recommend using along side the kindle book as there are pauses for page turns.
