About this listen

Delve into the dark. The Carreras are waiting....

From USA Today best-selling author Cora Kenborn comes three full-length dark mafia romance novels from the Carrera Cartel Trilogy.

Blurred Red Lines

Carrera. A name to avoid at all costs...until I come face-to-face with it. Abducted. Held against my will. A prisoner of a war I know nothing about. Captive to a ruthless cartel prince who wants more than my freedom. He wants me.

Faded Gray Lines

I never meant to start a war.... Then I fell for the boy my mother warned me about; a soulless killer for the Carrera Cartel. We were the virgin and the villain. The debutante and the devil. He swore we'd end in ruin. I swore love would conquer all. I was wrong.

Drawn Blue Lines

Brody Harcourt turned me from a queen into a pariah. Now there will be hell to pay. But, I'm back for more than revenge. More than blood. More than a forbidden man. My eye is on the prize...the Carrera throne.

Individual stand-alone titles are available under the Carrera Cartel Trilogy.

The Carrera Cartel

Blurred Red Lines

Wow this book was incredible. I love a good Mafia/ cartel book. The way the story was told was very intriguing to me. Cora Kenborn is a new author to me. I am loving her writing style. Can't wait to see what happens next. Brian Pallino, Sarah Puckett, and Alan Carlson all did a fabulous job narrating this book. Great accents!

Faded Gray Lines

This is the second book in the Carrera Cartel series. The first book focused on Eve and Val. This book is about Laken and Mateo. Laken is the mayor's daughter and the sister of a DEA agent. Mateo is one of Val's right hand men. They have a long complicated history. I loved how this book ended! Sarah Puckett and Aaron Shedlock did a fantastic job narrating. Can't wait to see who the next book will be about.

Drawn Blue Lines

I loved this series. This is the third book in the Carrera Cartel series. Each book got better and better. I loved the angst and slightly twisted family tree. This was the best ending for this series. Everyone got their HEA. Stacy Gonzales and Alan Carlson did a fantastic job narrating this book!

Dark Mafia Romance

Blurred Red Lines by Cora Kenborn is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Brian Pallino, Sarah Puckett, and Alan Carlson.

I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the relationship between Eden and Valentin. I liked that we got Eden, Valentin, and Brody’s points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Brian, Sarah, and Alan did an amazing job on the narration. This trio really knows how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

Aaron and Sarah did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I loved the relationship that bloomed between Adriana and Brody. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I would highly recommend this series to anyone who loves mafia/cartel romances, dark romances, enemies-to-lovers romances, second chance romances or romantic suspense.

The overall series

I really enjoyed all 3 books. Great stories, well written, well narrated but just like a lot of the books I listened to the female character has quite a few moments where the only word that comes to mind is stupid. Take the second book in this series for example. She is being attacked by 2 men and he comes to save her he gets lost in her eyes and the second man is coming up on him from behind and she just in between them and tells her attacker to stop and leave him alone she had already seen that her hero has a gun still standing between the two men her hero whispers in her ear DUCK and she turns to him and asks what? What does a duck have to do with this not until after the question leaves her mouth does it register what he means.. and that is just 1 of her stupid moments. My question is why would you make the star of your story stupid??????

Amazing story ❤️ ❤️

This bookset was so worth the credit... The narrators did a great job.... The storyline was great it's great and the characters were deep or deep and made you really get invested in the story.... Each book can be listened to alone but together they draw you into an amazing world.... The only negative is book 1 and 2 I feel like the hot and heavy parts were not hot enough more luke warm book 3 got alittle hot with those parts... All in all this book had everything mystery romance and drama ..... Now I want to go look at more of this Arthur's books I love a mafia romance.

The Carrera Cartel Trilogy

Blurred Red LIne:
Eden and Valentin two volatile people that complemented each other’s dark side. Valentin was known as The Reaper or El Muerte which is an incorrect term The Reaper is La Muerte which works for man or women. The translation and pronoun citation were very good.
Faded Gray Lines:
Layton and Mateo I enjoyed this couple but sometimes going back and forth between the past and the present was annoying. It took longer, maybe the past should have been explained in the first chapter, and let the rest of the story flow more easily. Layton was annoyingly stupid, reckless and insecure and super gullible. But as a love story was pretty good.
Drawn Blue Lines:
Adriana and Brody I almost stopped listening to the book due to the annoying FAKE accent of Adriana.(Stacey Gonzalez please, leave your regular accent you tried too hard to make it believable and it came out annoying and fake also, you kept saying Guerrera instead of Carrera because you wanted to say it fast, toward the end you sounded natural) The meal timeline was pretty good I know that most of the southern states of Mexico have desayuna(breakfast) early usually fruit, almuerzo (lunch) and comida(dinner) between 2 and 4) cena/merienda(supper) between 7 and 9which consists of a light serving usually something that is not to heavy.
For beinng a dark mafia romance this was a pretty good listen

Good Mafia/cartel romance

Three books, three couples. I loved all the men but found myself pretty annoyed by the women. Warmed up to them by the end of each story though. Narration was fantastic on all three!!

Wowza!

I’m very new to dark mafia romance and I really liked these books! I like Cora’s style of writing. The narrators were awesome as well and I will say before these books I didn’t have a favorite female narrator but now I can say it’s Sarah Puckett for sure! Can’t wait to listen to more from Cora!

The twists and turns

No gory violence, strong women!
Great narrators not a drawn out story, characters, tie nicely into each other throughout the three stories.

Addictive and Thrilling

This boxset was phenonmenal! I haven’t read or listened to a good a dark romance featuring a cartel kingpin who speaks Spanish and the translation is perfect. Cora Kenborn did a fantastic job telling this dark romance story. I fell in love with every couple and couldn’t get enough. This boxset includes Blurred Red Lines, Faded Gray Lines and Drawn Blue Lines. Each book is full of suspense, secrets, passion and a lot of bloodshed. It was interesting to see how Eden, Leighton, And Brody all had their darkness unleashed when they met their true love and how they went from heroes to anti heroes. They were able to balance out the darkness with light in Valentin, Matteo and Adrianna, respectively. As for the narration, this was my first time listening to Brian Pallino, Sarah Puckett, Alan Carlson and Stacy Gonzalez.

In Blurred Red Lines, Brian, Sarah & Alan did a fantastic job as Valentin, Eden and Brody. Brian blew me away with his take on Valentin and he got the Spanish pronunciation as perfect as could be. He made me believe he was Valentin.

In Faded Gray lines, Aaron Shedlock and Sarah Puckett bring Matteo and Leighton to life. Sarah was great as both Eden and Leighton and did a wonderful job with the Texas accent. I really enjoyed listening to her. I’ve always enjoyed Aaron’s narration but as Matteo, he was not a good choice for me. His Spanish accent was terrible and sometimes sounded like speedy Gonzalez!! He definitely needs more work on that type of accent and pronunciation of Spanish words. It was not my favorite, but I still enjoyed Matteo and Leighton’s story.

In Drawn Blue Lines, Alan and Stacy captured me with their portrayal of Brody and Adriana. This was my first audiobook by these two narrators and they did an incredible job telling this story. Alan was great as Brody, but he surprised me with his Spanish accent and pronunciation of Spanish words, he really made me believe he was a cartel soldier, kingpin, or enemy. However, Stacy as Adriana, was they cherry on top. I enjoyed listening to. Her as Adriana and she was able to go back and forth between each character flawlessly. This series was addicting, thrilling and so entertaining, I did not want to stop listening. If you love dark mafia romance, give this one a try.
