Loved it

The story with its characters kept me on the edge of my seat. It was interesting that the author kept developing the characters personalities throughout the story so that you felt differently about them at the end.

A Classic Mystery Novel

I was familiar with Edgar Wallace’s work only from the German Krimi films of the 60’s. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the writing. Wallace had a reputation of grinding out his novels quickly. This was quite entertaining and well read by the narrator.
