Publisher's summary

Leila Lantz has been in love with Jesse Glick from the day she first saw him at his father's store, but she can't make sense of his intentions. One day he wants to come courting, the next he seems to be putting distance between them.

Jesse may be the bishop's son, but his faith has been wavering of late. If he is so unsure, is it fair to give Leila false hope for a future he doubts he can provide?

Then there's Will, Jesse's cousin. He has been trying to keep his feelings for Leila a secret, but he also knows that Jesse is wrestling with his faith. Would declaring his feelings for Leila be in her best interest or simply serving his own selfish desires?

Love Love Love

I listened to Amish Romances every day. They are all good! But this one-this is the one that reconciles the heart of today’s Christian who reads these Amish stories and wishes for a simpler life. The characters in this story discover what we know to be true. This story brings peace to today’s Christian rather than longing. What a wonderful story! Just LOVED IT!

great book, Not the best audible

I love the book. I just don't feel like the audible was done well. Robotic and slow. No enthusiasm or interest in listening. Painful. Felt like my money was wasted.

Boring!

This story was silly and dragged on and on. I listened to most of it, then gave up! Too much nonsense in it! Very different than the 1st book in this series!

The title should be "Choosing the World"

This is a sad story that gives the wrong message. I don't know anyone Amish and only know what I've read, seen and heard but I think it's not noble to pull Godly people from a Godly community into this world of part-time worship. Evangelism is absolutely a calling and though each of us are called to, at some point or another, evangelism is a calling just like teaching, counseling, serving . . . etc. This book uses "Evangelism" as a condemnation against the Amish faith while at the same time ignoring the scriptures that tell Christians not to be "of" this world. The intolerance was shown from one perspective whereas there is plenty of intolerance and judgement reflected from the Non-Amish side as well.
I was very disappointed in the biased perspective of this book.
