In Your Brain Is a Time Machine, brain researcher and best-selling author Dean Buonomano draws on evolutionary biology, physics, and philosophy to present his influential theory of how we tell and perceive time. The human brain, he argues, is a complex system that not only tells time but creates it; it constructs our sense of chronological flow and enables "mental time travel" - simulations of future and past events.

So much Value in these 3 Books!
I was so blown away by this collection of audiobooks. These topics have always something that I have been interested in, but haven't had the time to really dive into, but oh man these audiobooks do a great job of diving into quantum physics, parallel universes, and the simulation hypothesis. Even though these topics are complex scientific topics, I was amazed at how the author was able to make it easy for me to follow and grasp. I was particularly captivated by the section on parallel universes; it genuinely made me rethink my understanding of reality and what might be possible beyond our own world, plus I love how much information is included in this audiobook. I would recommend this book to anyone curious about the universe and the nature of reality but who wants a clear, engaging, and straightforward introduction to these mind-bending topics.

Simulation Theory
When I was a little kid, I loved playing many video games. When I bought this audiobook, I got excited knowing that Simulation theory, which includes complex math and a simulated world with parallel realities, is something that many of us can enjoy learning how it works. The author explains how philosophy explores many topics, like living in a simulation, which I knew back in high school about quantum physics, to tell me what is real. I enjoyed this audiobook because it taught me about a beginner guide to reality.

Expands Your Mind Without the Overwhelm
I've always been curious about quantum physics and the idea of parallel universes, but most books dive too deep or get lost in complex math. This audiobook collection strikes a great balance—it explains mind-bending concepts in a way that actually makes sense without feeling dumbed down. The section on the simulation hypothesis was especially thought-provoking, making me question reality in a way I hadn’t before. If you like big ideas without the headache, this is a great listen and there's tons of info.

Exciting and fun group of books
I love learning about physics and especially parallel universes. As an author, I want to write my next mystery series as a parallel universe and found this group of books to be highly educational. I am loving the experiments they do to help me visualize what is going on. I am no scientist, and I was able to keep up easily; this group of books is for us regular people. The books are well written, and the narrator was easy to listen to and follow.
