About this listen

The Immortality Trilogy is three separate books. At it's heart, its a story about the immortal descendants of Noah, angels, and even a few demons. Thousands of years of alliances and under-the-table deals between the Almighty and his angels come full circle as the three books move along to a thrilling denouement.

In book three, The Agreement: A Tale of the Rapture, the gang reunites and strikes a bargain with Gabriel to travel to Hades to retrieve his fallen angel. All this must occur before the trumpets blare or the Agreement is considered null and void. It makes sense after all, the Rapture is the end.

The Agreement

Who knew Hell had so many levels? The characters in this book do.It is time for the rapture and there are people who need moved 'above' before it happens. I like the banter between characters in this series.Wyatt Baker does a great job with narration.I was given this book by the narrator, author or publisher free for an honest review.

Awesome ending, Great Story

This was a really good ending to a trilogy.

This was a very well thought out book, It made me think about how the difference between hell and heaven. The struggle to save his beloved and the length he would go through. The angels vs. demons. The devil was portrayed in many different forms, which to me was very interesting. I love the detail of the hell, the different levels that are talked about. The fact that the author took so much time and energy to cover the differences even if only fiction. I really enjoyed this author and as well as the narrator. I would certainly recommmend this book, as well as the entire series. I will continue to follow this author.

The narrator was easy to tell the difference between characters.

I was given this book at my request by the author. This review is unbiased.

Waller always delivers!

Love this series, love these characters, love this author & narrator!
Everything Waller writes is amazing!
I’m glad there appears to be a chance for a continuation.
Aaron, Jennifer, Edward, Annie our relatively newcomer, Dorian & Bea are all back. Can they meet the deadline for their agreement?

Have to go through Hell to reach Heaven

What did you like best about this story?

You get to see all of the characters from the earlier books back at it again. You get to see them go through all of the different levels of Hell and how C.F. Waller envisions them in this world. It is also a quick pace and keeps things moving along nicely.

What about Wyatt Baker’s performance did you like?

As with the prior two books, he does a good job. Solid narration all the way through.

Any additional comments?

A fitting finale for all of the immortals we have come on adventures through time with. It also leaves room open for maybe another series involving some of the characters. It is shorter than the last two books, but that doesn't take anything away. If anything it kicks up the paces of this one as they blast through Hell.

Another solid C F Waller tale, but a bit short

I thoroughly enjoyed the third installment of The Immortal Trilogy, but for me the story was a bit short (compared with Book's 1 and 2).

The Agreement brings together all the characters from Book's 1 and 2, which is great, as their individual personalities and motivations weave nicely through the tale.

I do enjoy Waller's imagination and his interpretation of hell is wildly different from the traditional take on it.

Wyatt Baker does a great job of the narration, keeps the pace appropriately and does a great job in defining each character in their unique voice.

Obviously you need to listen/read books 1 and 2, and if you do, then you will be familiar with Waller's storytelling from the perspective of each individual. The good news is that each chapter is prefaced with the name of the character we are hearing from. Once you get into this rhythm following the story is seamless.

My thanks to the author for providing me a copy of this book, free of charge, in return for this unbiased review.

A Great Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, and found it very entertaining. The last of the immortals come together for one last time as the Rapture is about to happen to their world. Performing one favor for Gabriel will get them free passage in to Heaven, so off to Hell they go. The suspense lasted up to the very end of the book, as the group battles the levels hell to get into Heaven. It was hard to stop listening to it this book with its unique characters and plot.

3rd time is a charm

This is by far the best in the series so far. The 1st book was good, 2nd not so much, but this was a much better story. Lots of action, twist and turns!
