Instant #1 New York Times Bestseller!

“Tough-but-tender cop Lindsay Boxer” (People) leads the Women’s Murder Club in the high-profile murder investigation of a billionaire San Francisco couple. As enemies lurk in the shadows, will Cindy, Claire, Yuki, and Lindsay still be standing when the clock strikes midnight?

SFPD Sergeant Lindsay Boxer, Medical Examiner Claire Washburn, Assistant District Attorney Yuki Castellano, and crime writer Cindy Thomas gather at one of San Francisco’s finest restaurants to celebrate exciting news: Cindy is getting married.

Before they can raise their glasses, there’s a disturbance in the restaurant. A woman has been assaulted.

Claire examines the victim. Lindsay makes an arrest. Yuki takes the case. Cindy covers it.

The legal strategy is complicated by gaps in the plaintiff’s memory—and the shocking reason behind her ever-changing testimony.

As Yuki leads the prosecution, Lindsay chases down a high-society killer whose target practice may leave the Women’s Murder Club short a bridesmaid … or two.

This series is getting old.

I’ve always love the women’s murder club books but they are losing their excitement and suspense. Same old same old. The last few have been meh.

Disappointing

This was bit as exciting or thrill packed as previous stories in this series. I was pretty disappointed.

Not my favorite WMC book

This book felt phoneded in and disjointed. All the characters were there and there were 3 different situations going on, but it left out what makes WMC great. it is the ensemble. Lendsey is the main character, but each of the other characters plays an equally important role on the team. Each has a special set of schills and prospective needed to pull the cases together. i love that. there was a little overlap between Clair, Lindsey, and Yuki, but the story was not a jigsaw that each caracters had a few peices that they were finally able to put together and see the whole picture. I enjoy these characters and will keep reading because of that in hopes that the old magic formula will come back. This one was just ok, but not much of a mystery that kept you guessing. It was definatly not the best in the series, but it wasn't the worst.

Story was almost boring

I usually enjoyThe Womens Murder Club stories but this one was lacking. The plot was predictable and almost boring. This was definitely not worth aa credit. While the narrator was great, she could not salvage the icky sweet narrative and poor plot.

A bit of a decline in the series

I love love love the series, but I can’t help feeling that it’s getting tired. For me, this particular book just didn’t flow and felt like it was rushed. Dont get me wrong, buy it and read it, but it just didn’t have the excitement that the past 21 books had. The last few books were lacking in my opinion.

Not Patterson's Best Effort

Story was kinda weak. Side story about hospital ransom was downright boring! Side story about rape trial was better.

Stories weren’t very believable or well thought out

Not that great of a story, too busy, stories didn’t sync well. Not very intertaining

Meh

It didn’t hold my attention like the last 23 in the series. It was okay, but wished I had checked it out at the library rather than wasting a credit. I can say what I need to in less than 15 words.
