About this listen
The Holiday Cottages are magical places, where those who come to Sprucewood, Colorado to “get away” find themselves and their hopes renewed, relationships kindled, and dreams coming true.
Jaimyn Jones wants to experience a real Thanksgiving, but she has no family or friends to do this with. She hopes to find a bit of the holiday season by staying at the Thanksgiving Cottage, even though she knows it's too big for just one person.
However, once she arrives, she is surprised to find that the cottage has been double booked, and she can either share it with the large friendly Branson family, or go back home and be alone again.
In a way, she thinks this is an answer to her prayer for having a real Thanksgiving, but then the final member of the family shows up with dark, brooding eyes....and is not happy to share his holiday with a total stranger.

Story
With a name like Isabelle Valentine, one would think I was destined to find true love and believe in the ridiculous notion of soul mates. Don’t get me wrong: I’m all about love. I even own an inn with my sister where each room is named after our favorite romantic couples. But soul mates? It seems highly implausible there is that one person, your person, meant only for you. My sister, of course, would tell me I’m dead wrong and that the very inn we own calls to such lovers. So, what if she did find her own unlikely happily ever after here with one of the most famous men alive?

All Hope Cooper needed this year was to have the kind of Christmas her family always cherished. But with her parents gone and her only brother having to work, it doesn't look like it's going to work out for her. There's nothing she can do about her parents, but she most certainly can voice her annoyance at her brother's boss for making him work out of town all through the holidays. Beckett James hates the holidays and everything that goes with them. They were important at one time, but now the only thing that matters is his company and its continued growth....

All fluff - no substance.
I’m sorry but this should have been a freebie. There was no depth to the story and the narrator lacked. I did not mind the Christian influence, but I enjoy a story that invokes a bit more thought provoking dialogue.
