About this listen
How far would you go to save your son?
The fifth book in the best-selling time travel series, Tesseract continues the story of Josh and Caitlin and their desperate search for their missing son, Zachary.
Taken beyond the borders of their continuum, they will need to recruit the greatest scientific minds of the twentieth century to create a powerful tesseract, a multi-dimensional portal that can unlock the alternate timelines of the Anunnaki.
But what they find will question everything they know about the origins of humanity.

Story
The wall just didn’t look right. Alex has been trying to cope. Life after his deployment had been rough. His ex-wife thought he needed to stop disappointing their daughter. She was right. He would try harder. With six hours before his little girl’s fourth birthday party, he saw the anomaly. One wall was too short. Plenty of time to tear out a panel and look behind it. He found a brick wall. His house wasn’t made of brick. Behind that was another just like the first. He still had time. When the second wall came down, Alex stood and stared at the shining doorway.

What would you do if you could go back in time and change your life? Which regrets and mistakes would you fix? What would your life look like now? In Future Proof, an experimental medical treatment goes wrong, which allows Sam Harris to do exactly that. He starts by standing up to the kids who bullied him at school and then sets about trying to fix the mess he made of the rest of his life. However, as he discovers, changing his past doesn’t always guarantee a brighter future.

Holds up, a constant consistent good series
Rarely does a series stay strong and not disappoint, but here we are. It’s a bit complicated with the folds and flips and skips through time lines, and streams and points. Just go with it and enjoy the ride.

5th book and 5th place
Out of the 5 books so far, this one is my least favorite. There are some great characters, storylines, and one liners (“I’ve always wondered how that story began” - speaking of Merlin) but it felt a little choppy. Looking forward to the 6th!
