About this listen

Chief of Tribal Police Jacob Graywolf serves and protects his community on the reservation. When an epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous women hits home, he's relieved the FBI gets involved. But something about the woman agent has him running scared.

FBI Special Agent Zena Adalwolf is certain Jacob is her soul mate. Their connection at first sight is immediate and urgent - a bond that transcends their professional relationship. If only the clueless hunk would realize they belong together!

After more Native American women are killed, Zena and Jacob suspect they have a serial killer on their hands. To track down the unsub, they allow their inner wolves to come out and play. But with the ever-ticking clock going wild, will the killer find them first?

Suspenseful

This is my first book by Sharon Buchbinder and I enjoyed this suspenseful paranormal murder mystery!! Jacob and Zena have an instant attraction to one another that they try to postpone until they solve who is murdering people in the small town!! While their attraction simmers, time shortens to find the killer and hard lessons are learned, sacrifices made and secrets revealed!! Jeffery Lynn Hutchins is a new narrator to me and does well providing each character with a different voice. His performance brings the story to life making my listening experience enjoyable.

Criminal Suspense on the Crow Reservation

This was a Criminal Suspense on the Montana Crow reservation. Story starts with Jacob the local Sheriff's mother a midwife working out of the medical Center. You have Ghosts, Wolfs, an Owl, a Redheaded FBI agent, and more that turn this Mystery into a Romance as well. Narrator did a good job with this story.

Not just a romance...so much more

A little mystery, a little paranormal mixed a native American flair. I enjoyed this different but intriguing story. The story is fast paced and easily kept my interest. The characters are fun and yet some are scary at the same time. I enjoyed Jacob and Zena. Working towards finding a killer as well as their connection. I almost think I my fav character is Eddie. He is attitude and thoughtfulness made him a bright light in this book with some darkness.

This is a first time author and narrator for me. Both did a good job. The narrator has a great voice

Not a bad story

This was a different kind of story. Cops that were Werewolves, a new twist.I have to say that I was very glad when they finally caught the culprit that was responsible for the awful deaths that occurred. I was happy at the union in the end as well. A happily ever after.

One book, so many genres!

I enjoyed this book because it contained so many things that kept me entertained. I love a good crime book, I'm into paranormal and shape shifter books as well. It also contained romance and suspense. Although the narrator is good, I thought that he was the wrong person for this book. I think someone younger with a more sexier voice would have been better suited. His voice for the supposed 2 main characters (Jacob and Zena) were awkward. A couple more things that I wish that were changed about the book would be to draw out the suspense on who the person was that was killing the women. That left little for the imagination. Also, the romance would have been better if it weren't so rushed and a bit more slow burning. Overall, it was a good solid book, just a tad bit disappointing. I do like that it was focused on the Native American reservation.

Paranormal Tale.

This paranormal story has a bit of many different elements to capture your attention. There are wolf shifters, true mates, ghosts, mystery, a serial killer, thought readers, and a loving family. The author does an excellent job of plot and character development. This story engages the listener from the very beginning. The narrator does an amazing job of portraying the emotions of these characters. The last chapter will have the listener tearing up. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook, and I recommend this Audible book.

Unique Paranormal

This was a serial killer murder mystery based on Indigenous Crow reservation. The uniqueness of the main characters are they practice Judaism. This was surprising and educating. This concept is foreign to me. The book was well written with great flow.

Narrator Jeffrey Lynn Hutchins provided the accents of Native Americans. There are prayers in Hebrew for the Sabbath meal.
