About this listen

She is obsessed with tattoos. He is obsessed with her.

When a body is found on the outskirts of Halifax, rumors run wild about the victim's identity. But tattoo artist Kenzie Sloane knows exactly who she is. They share a tattoo…and a decade-old secret.

Lawyer Kate Lange remembers Kenzie Sloane. The former wild child was part of the same crowd that attracted her little sister, Imogen, before her death. Now Kenzie needs her help. And Kate needs answers.

But there are others who know about the tattoo and its history. And one of them is watching Kenzie's every move, waiting for the perfect moment to fulfill a dark promise that had been inked in her skin.

Guilty or not guilty

l loved the suspense wondering who was guilty. Eva did a great job of narrating.

Go Kate!

Enjoyed another Kate Lange thriller. She's has more insight than the people surrounding her once again!

Pamela Callow has become one of my favorite author

Would you listen to Tattooed again? Why?

I would listen to Tattooed again. Actually, I plan to listen again. I was multi-tasking, (LOL) and missed some key information in the first two hours. As a result, I was a little confused.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I've come to love the characters from the other novels. Therefore, I'm concerned for them and they drove the novel and kept me on the edge of my seat.

What about Eva Kaminsky’s performance did you like?

She did an outstanding job. Eva has the perfect narrator voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending. I was shocked Kate didn't recognize the setup. And, I couldn't believe Kenzie got away with murder, TWICE!!!

Plot is given away in first few chapters.

Any additional comments?

While listening I had trouble figuring out who was who because the person reading did a poor job of changing voices. Also the writer gave away the plot to soon in the book I was able to guess the outcome before hand. I listened to the book regardless but that was because I had nothing else to listen too.

Slow listen

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would have like it condensed. I got bored. Premise was great but I never got into the characters or had feelings about them. Introduced characters that were unnecessary and didn't deve them. Disappointing.

Would you ever listen to anything by Pamela Callow again?

Maybe

Would you listen to another book narrated by Eva Kaminsky?

Yes

Do you think Tattooed needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No. It does leave some open questions but not enough for me to be interested.

Not that good : (

I have read her other two books which were pretty good, however, I found this one disappointing. It seemed too "Harlequin" type of a story to me. I also disliked how she talked about her feelings of sadness over the loss of her sister in an automobile accident. She has already revealed and discussed those emotions in the first and second books in the series. Why do we need to read it all over again. We get it!

Now I feel that if I ever purchased a fourth book in the series (and I'm sure she'll write another one), that for sure she'll delve on the past again, and go over the emotions she's feeling about whatever happened in the past AGAIN.

No thank you. This book was not worth a credit to me. It was just too predictable.

The narrator did fine and she'd be perfect for a "Harlequin" novel.
