About this listen

The doomsday weapon—a monster in a bat cave. Only Breed can destroy it.

Late in 1974, six Green Berets were sent into China on a desperate mission. They were called the Black Sheep. Compromised, the mission failed. The men fled through a bat cave and barely escaped with their lives.

Fifty years later, assassins are killing the Black Sheep one by one. Their leader, Sam Crockett, was a close friend of Breed's father. When Crockett goes missing, Breed sets out to find the vet, and thwart the assassins sent to kill him.

Breed finds Crockett and learns the horrifying secret of the bat cave. Anya Stein, of the CIA, sends Breed on a mission tailor-made for a man of his lethal qualifications. The only problem—it could be his last.

Target Deck—Book Three in the stunning Breed action thriller series. Perfect for fans of Lee Child, Jason Kasper, and Jack Carr.

Interesting story

I liked the overall plot and Breed was true to his character’s past. But the first novel in this series is the best. Also I was very surprised to hear “foilage” spoken instead of “foliage.” Someone should be proof listening to the narration before releasing the product.

Great series.

I love the characters and raw action. I feel like I'm transported into the story.

Great story but the Narration was subpar

I enjoyed the story (the series, in general). But the narrators nearly monotone way of reading ALL of the characters and as hard to adjust to. There seemed to be a lack of emotion in all of the characters and the inflections were just missing. There was no excitement or anger, or fear, etc in his voice when there should have been. This would have made the story soooo much more interesting and engaging.

New School Old Fashion Good!

Like the rest of his audible books C Curtis delivers a solid story. Nothing woke nothing PC just realistic fiction. Thanks for not taking us on woke annoying journey and keep it true.

China virus

I think there is an underlying truth to this storyline. Cameron Curtis does not disappoint! Only pet peeve is calling a 1911 pistol, a one nine eleven! Having fired the Carl G, I love reading about the back last effects!

Kramer’s Poor Narration Limits Impact of Excellent Story

Great storyline though each time I was fully engaged Kramer mispronounced or misread a word or phrase, breaking the spell

Interesting

Better than the previous book but it lacks some logic explanations and rushes at key moments

Terrific story with authentic details to support it

Having spent two years in Vietnam including four months in the summer of 1969 as a 7208 ground FAC carrying out patrols mostly in Laos and the northwestern DMZ calling air strikes on targets of opportunity, this story is like sitting around drinking beer with other old Marines.
