Story
Compiled by intrepid journalist Neve Pride, this archive of recordings spans the months after dragons emerged on earth, chronicling the communities that sprang up amid the destruction, the scientists, military leaders, and experts searching for a defense, and those steadfastly seeking the missing. Neve and her young daughter Bex travel among the wreckage speaking to those left behind and surviving, against all odds. Neve records everything for history, and in the hopes of locating a clue as to where the dragons came from and how one might stop them.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Fantastic book. Amazing writer. Best Narration.
Oh my Gosh!!! After I finished the first book, I was so pleased and overwhelmed! I enjoyed reading it so very much. The writer creates magical and adventurous moments in many different ways: friendship, sacrifice, deaths, honor, battle, good and evil, obedience, love, betrayal, and loyalty as well. I'm extremely glad when a writer gives you such sensations. The way the author describes each character: their feelings, their appearance, and their surroundings, makes you feel you are living right there with them and that you are part of the realm. The author puts everyday emotions, pain, and conflicts of real life into those beautiful characters. Every meaning, every action of the characters has a consequence, just like real life. Definitely highly recommend this to children and especially to adults, why? Well because every adult has to see and feel the magic for themselves to know how to tell the story to their own kids. The narrator manages to create an absolutely fantastic voice from each character. The audiobook is fantastic as well. Can’t wait to see the next book and the next book and the next book...

Delightful for any reader!
If I could give it another 5 stars, I would! The performance was paced perfectly, and the story was captivating! The author's playful use of consonance is whimsical! And my personal favorite piece of this work was the hunt for hidden puns along the way!
Joplin James has developed a beautiful forest where anyone can meet a fabulous set of characters to see their adventure unfold...
