Daniel Thomas Hind
About this listen
WARNING: You are about to hear a semi-autobiographical novel by an unnamed A-list celebrity recounting his early years in Hollywood—and the dirty, deplorable exploits that catapulted him to fame.
THE AUTHOR is a dark absurdist take on the artist as a young man in a world damaged by social media, designer drugs, and the dark underbelly of Hollywood. The anonymous author of the saga peels back the curtain to reveal the inner life of a one-day superstar (or sociopath) desperate to become famous by any means necessary, who one day does, and pulls off one of the greatest public relations stunts in entertainment history.
Presented by Daniel Thomas Hind on behalf of The Author.
When Hollywood blacklisted this book and forced The Author into silence, Daniel Thomas Hind took on the challenge of representing him—risking his reputation to bring this story to the world.

JP and Dulin have been the best of friends for decades. When JP finds out his cancer has aggressively returned, Dulin decides it’s the perfect time for one last adventure: a week-long bus tour of North America’s Impossibles, the physics-defying glitches and geographic miracles that started cropping up seven years earlier—right after the Announcement that revealed our world to be merely a digital simulacrum. The outing, courtesy of Canterbury Trails Tours, promises the trip of a (not completely real) lifetime in a (not completely deluxe) coach.

Story
Miranda’s parents live in a dilapidated house in rural France that they share with two llamas, eight ducks, five chickens, two cats, and a freezer full of food dating back to 1983. This wry, propulsive story about a singularly eccentric family and the sibling rivalry, generational divides, and long-buried secrets that shape them, is a glorious debut novel from a seasoned playwright with immense empathy and a flair for dialogue.

Story
Icarus may not have flown particularly close to the sun, but he has fallen… right into the rough hands of Olympus's own Poseidon. Being held captive by the gentle giant wouldn't be so bad if Olympus wasn't on the eve of destruction… or if Poseidon stopped looking at him with those irresistibly stormy eyes. Poseidon doesn't have time to babysit his increasingly bratty prisoner, but he has no choice: Olympus is officially at war, and someone has to keep their best bargaining chip out of harm's way.

Absolutely do not waste your time or money
Only a pretentious celebrity could write a story as a “Tell-All” with no plot and no story and have this many copies sold. If you aren’t aware of the partying, sex, drugs and behaviors of celebrities, this story may shock you. Otherwise, it’ll bore you to death. Never thought I’d be able to say I’ve lived a crazier life than a celebrity, but this novel proved otherwise. Couldn’t care less who The Author actually is. After this review, I’ll never think about this book or its author again.
