In Swept into Love....

It's been years since Sally Tuft's husband died and she was left to raise her teenage son alone. And almost as long since she told the only other man she'd ever wanted that they should be just friends. Now her son has left for college and Sally has no distractions to keep her from thinking about her best friend and coworker, Gage Ryder, and what could have been.

Gage always believed that one day Sally would move past the death of her husband and they would finally explore the passion that's simmered between them since the day they met. Tasked with opening a new youth center in Oak Falls, Virginia, Gage hopes the trip away is just what they need to finally come together.

Before Gage and Sally ever reach Oak Falls, one night at a conference changes everything, putting their friendship - and their love - on the line, and the two must decide if getting swept up in love is the beginning of forever, or the end of their friendship as they know it.

The Ryders are a series of sexy stand-alone romances. These hot contemporary romance novels feature alpha male heroes and sexy, empowered women. They're flawed, funny, passionate, and relatable to listeners who enjoy new adult romance, contemporary romance, and women's fiction.

Gage and Sally

Oh My Gosh… Gage, sigh. Sally, wow! Their emotions jumped out of the recording of this story. I could hear the angst of Gage trying to control his feelings, the worry of Sally trying to keep her feelings hidden. I could hear the hope they had for each other, the love they felt for each other, and the respect they had for Randy during their entire secret, relationship. Once again BJ Harrison did an amazing job of making the characters come alive, making their story be real, and pulling the listener right in.

Gage and Sally are the couple all Melissa Foster Love in Bloom readers have been waiting for. They have circled each other, flirted shamelessly, and been in love for so long that theirs was a story that had to be told. Let me tell you right away this is the perfect, beautiful, wonderful, sexy, and loving story for them.

The saying What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas is the perfect start for them. In this case what happen in Vegas leads to heart ache, soul searching, opening of hearts, and learning to trust. Leaving their business trip and heading home brings to their lives many tough decisions and opens their eyes to all that they mean to each other.

I love Gage’s dirty mouth, sweet demeanor, and total thoughtfulness of Randy (Sally’s son). The way he makes Sally blush and come out of her shell while not pushing her too far out of her comfort zone is perfect. Sally is also willing to come out of her comfort zone to experience the full force of Gage. The relationship between these two is hot, steamy, sweet, loving, and wonderful. Everything these two deserve after their long….very long courtship.

My favorite is catching up with past couples in the Love in Bloom series. I love hearing about their relationships, their weddings, and their babies. This is a series that I hope never ends. I recommend picking up your own copy ASAP.

Awesome!

Swept into Love by Melissa Foster is fantastic. I absolutely loved Sally and Gage's story. It is full of so many realistic emotions. The second chance at love after devastating loss is such a wonderful redemption. I thought the author incorporated many details that made the story so good. The cameo appearances of some of the Ryder family added to the story. BJ Harrison did an amazing performance with this narration. To my ears, he is the voice of the Ryder family. I can't wait to listen to the next book by this wonderful author and narrator.

Great Read

Swept Into Love by Melissa Foster was another great read by the author. This is the fifth book in Melissa Foster's Ryders series. Sally and Gage have always been best friends since after Sally's husband died. They never became more than friends until they woke up in Vegas married. I listened to the audiobook and completely enjoyed listening to this story. I can't wait to read more by Melissa Foster.

My Thoughts on Swept into Love

Gage Ryder finally gets his long awaited HEA in Swept into Love.

I was surprised by just how it happened but I enjoyed watching Gage and Sally work through the complications they find themselves facing.

This was an interesting spin on the best friends to lovers storyline. I really enjoyed it and thought it was the perfect wrap up to this series.

The writing remained strong in true Melissa Foster fashion. The narration was good as well as I've come to expect from BJ Harrison.

What happens in Vegas ...

I've been waiting to listen to this story since I started the Ryders series. I had so many expectations and I wasn't disappointed. I could understand the shock of waking up naked in bed with a naked man. Especially when the man is your best friend. Then to realize you married him. Well, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas right? Well, kinda.

How they managed to keep it quiet as long as they did amazed me. I understood why Sally felt the need to tell her son first. And his reaction was a bit surprising, but not really. I loved the girls' reaction. I chuckled at some of the expressions I could fully picture on their faces.

This was a great story to finally hear, but I was hoping for something more explosive. But that's just me. I think the story made sense considering the history.

BJ Harrison did a nice job with this book and these characters. But that has been the case with all of the books in this series.

I definitely recommend reading this series if you love family dynamics. This series has them in spades.

After reading this the first time, I fell in love with Sally & Gage's story. YEA, it finally happened. But then i listened to BJ give life to the words and OMG, fell even more in love with them all!!!!

IT was rough throughout the whole LIB series to see them not get together but now, they are finally where they are meant to be...in each other's arms!

Good book!

I have been waiting patiently for Gage and Sally's story to be told and I loved it from start to finish. I was glad that Gage and Sally finally ended up together after 'dancing around' their feelings for one another for years and I liked how they ended up together as I really did not see that coming. I enjoyed Gage and Sally as characters as they were relatable. As a reader, one could connect with either of the pair's issues or concerns making them real. I also liked how both characters were older and not the typical 20 something character that is commonly found. Both characters had real life experiences between them also making them relatable as characters. The plot of their story flowed well and had me hooked from the first page. I can not say enough about this book and about Ms. Foster as an author. I have enjoyed her work for quite some time and would recommend this book as well as her other books to others. Mr. Harrison continues to narrate Ms. Foster's stories with much enthusiasm giving the story life and keeping me interested in the story.

Finally...Sally & Gage's Love Story

Sally Tuft and Gage Ryder became best friends after the death of Sally's husband and a positive male figure for her son. For 5 years, they have hidden their love for each other until one night in Vegas when they woke up married.

Sally and Gage set off on a romantic journey sealing their love for one another. Gage wants to shout it to the world that he and Sally are married, but she wants to keep it a secret until she can tell her son in person. Once they return to Allure, Sally is unsure about telling Rusty as well as where to call home; the house she shared with her deceased husband or at Gage's house. Once she gets Rusty's blessing, Sally and Gage's life really begins.

The love between Gage and Sally is off the charts. It's been a long time coming! Loved their story!!

My favorite of this series!

Swept Into Love is my favorite book in this series. I had been waiting for Sally’s story and hoping for her to find the happiness she deserves.
Sally is a single mom who, like many parents, puts her son’s needs and wants above anything for herself. But now that her son is growing up and moving off into his own life, Sally is finding time for herself but still feeling a bit guilty and selfish about thinking of herself.
Gage has always been there as a friend, just biding his time. He longs to move their relationship past friendship without losing her as his best friend.
I’ve listened to this series on audiobook and really enjoy the great narration and I can’t wait to discover more titles by this author and narrator combination!

Emotional and Funny!

This has everything a story should.... witty, emotional and even had me laugh out loud by the way Sally reacted when she woke up the next morning in Gage Ryder's bed after a drunken night of sex in Vagus. She was horrified, yet here she was looking at his morning wood after she jerked the sheet off of him to wrap around herself. They had been sent there to oversee opening a new youth center. After her husband had died, Gage had been there for her and her son Rusty. She didn't even remember having sex with him and was so embarrassed. Hurrying to get dressed to get out of his room, she saw a marriage certificate stating they had been married by an Elvis impersonator. On their was back home, Gage couldn't understand why she was upset because he loved her. She told him they needed and annulment. Then the annulment went out the window when he made love to her so sweet. I loved the humor between them. The narrator brought it to life in my mind! Grab your copy quick! You won't be disappointed.
