About this listen
Pick your poison: Hungry dragons, Japanese steam creatures, blind sea monsters, indifferent, planet-destroying aliens, or a futuristic pharma corporation gone rogue.
These are just a few things you can expect in this professionally curated collection of Science Fiction & Fantasy. From one story to the next, you will have no idea what to expect.
In Volume Three of the hugely successful Summer of Sci-Fi & Fantasy anthology series, editor Dustin Bilyk brings you a collection of tales that will both frighten you and pull you into a state of wonderment, while shattering your expectations and introducing some of the most hard-hitting and evocative short stories on the market today.
In this year’s volume, we have included 19 shorts stories and 1 full-length novella from 20 authors. Whether you’re craving a story about:
- a poor piper enlisted to remove a deadly spirit from a haunted house
- a little girl trying to survive in a magical village in spite of her swindling, con-artist grandmother
- a man diagnosed with narcolepsy who is sure he is being dissected from the inside by an alien race
- a barbarian with a dark secret fighting for his life in a ring against a slew of mythical beasts, as the nobility looks on
- a young girl disappearing one day in front of her house, the only evidence being her footsteps in the dew ending halfway across the lawn
- a wooden girl's journey across medieval Japan in the hands of her captors, her only friends a wayward bunny and a drunken samurai.
We have something for everyone.
Included are epic, never-before-read short stories from Adam Jarvis, Kevin Singer, Ron Sanders, Jean-Louis Trudel, Barend Nieuwstraten III, Mark F. Owens, Andrei-Ion Ghircoias, Tony Robusto, Eliza Langhans, Diana Olney, and Felicity Samaniego, as well as a novella by editor and author Dustin Bilyk.PLUS, reprints by Eric Choi, Simon Kewin, Matt McHugh, Xauri’EL Zwann, Stewart C. Baker, Sam Muller, Anne Karppinen, and Mei Davis.

Sci-fi and Fantasy Adventure
Thanks to all the authors who made this book possible and to Kevin E. Green who narrated the book. The stories inside are entertaining, interesting and enjoyable. You may like some stories more than others but to each their own. There is everything from aliens to magic. You never know what you might get to listen to lol. This is the third volume in the series and I hope there will be more to come.

Good anthology
Solid anthology of sci-fi and fantasy. They all mostly hit the important qualities of fantasy and sci-fi, that is they make you think and look at things differently. With any anthology, some short stories are better than others. I enjoyed the fantasy side more than the sci-fi in this particular selection, but they are all worth a listen.
