Is bourbon the quintessential American liquor? Bourbon is not just alcohol - the amber-colored drink is deeply ingrained in American culture and tangled in American history. From the early days of raw corn liquor to the myriad distilleries that have proliferated around the country today, bourbon is a symbol of the United States. This course traces bourbon's entire history, from the 1700s, with Irish, Scottish, and French settlers setting up stills and making distilled spirits in the New World, through today's booming resurgence.

Heartfelt Guide for Rescue Dog Owners
Adopting my rescue dog has been incredibly fulfilling, but it also brought challenges I didn’t expect. This book has been a comforting guide, helping me navigate the emotional ups and downs of integrating my pup into our family.
I appreciated how the book compassionately explains common rescue dog behaviors and their underlying reasons. This understanding shifted my perspective from frustration to empathy, deepening our bond. The practical advice is easy to follow—especially the tips for establishing routines and setting gentle boundaries. I also learned to recognize mistakes I was making, like introducing new situations too quickly.
The guidance on building trust has been pivotal for both of us. If you’re considering adopting a rescue dog or have already welcomed one, I highly recommend this book. It’s filled with valuable insights and has empowered me to face challenges while nurturing a loving relationship with my furry companion.
This journey has been rewarding, and this book has been essential in making it work!

“LOVING your Rescue”
This slim volume is packed with many valuable tips. Being a pet parent of puppies to adulthood I would highly recommend this book for new pet parents, whether pups or an adopted rescue! I have already recommended this book to my sister-in-law who just acquired her first, a two month old pup! This is a valuable resource for parenting your fur kids and suggest the purchase prior to adoption!
I was impressed and it resonated with me the important title inclusion of “Loving“. As indicated in the book, training is such a needed aspect of “loving“ your fur kids. Training = safety = loving.
It outlines points in a straightforward and simple manner, which is easy to follow. A couple of thoughtful points… Taping electrical cords to furniture… The importance of having a collar and leash from the moment you get your new rescue dog…. The need for consistency with all family members.

Small but powerpacked
Most of us think of getting a puppy so this book threw me for a loop. The Love a person has could make a difference for one of these dogs. By proxy it could make a difference for the owner of one of these dogs also. From what I gather once the owner does the work to bring the dog's trust back, the owner will have one of the deepest bonds. Good Book.
