Publisher's summary

Hey beautiful, your time has come to prove to everyone that you have what it takes to power through stereotypes and live that successful life that you know you are capable of.

Systemic racism may have started hundreds of years ago, but it remains very much alive today.

Racism and sexism threaten and subdue countless strong and amazing women. They hinder confidence and growth and replace them with self-doubt and inferiority.

But this needs to stop.

Truth is, you have always had what it takes to break this cycle and use the stones thrown at you as your own weapon of awareness and self-discovery.

And with this guidebook on success, specifically designed for you, you are on to better and brighter things.

Inside, you’ll discover:

  • The evolution of racism and how it remains a big issue for many years, regardless of the visible pain it inflicts on Black people
  • Related stories to illustrate what’s really happening in today’s society, including success stories of the most daring and influential Black women whose challenges helped carve an influential path for today’s generation
  • The role of sexism in the workplace, how being a Black woman is seen as a disadvantage rather than a competitive edge—and ways to turn this notion upside down
  • Reasons why Black women tend to lean toward a servitude lifestyle — and how to break this false perception of accessibility
  • The importance of having the vision to plan better for the future ahead, including tips on how to identify and manifest your goals
  • Effective strategies and mistakes to avoid to successfully integrate consistency into your lifestyle to achieve the life of your dreams

And much more.

If you're ready to finally break free from the hold that racism, sexism, and poverty have on you and start living that successful life you know you deserve, then you should listen to this audiobook!

A refreshing, inspiring journey on Black women & their challenges with racism from past to present

I highly recommend this book. There are a lot of people who write about Black women, but this took a great approach using historical and current real life examples about the trials and triumphs of Black women in the corporate world and the American workforce. This is an excellent resource not only for the youth but also for any goal driven, focused adult who has struggled with discrimination, racism and oppression in the United States and around the world.

A lovely guide for Black Women

I absolutely love how this book walks us through the history and current troubles we face. The author did not shy away from the hard topics. She went into detail about racism, poverty, sexism, and even the stereotypical roles we were given. There are a few figures mentioned as examples that I want to learn more about, now that the author has given me a taste of their story. But that’s not all this book offers! It gives you a guide on how to be successful despite the issues we’re facing. How to overcome the issues, ask the right questions, and execute to become what you manifested. After reading this book, I have more knowledge about our history, where the issues began, where we are, and how to navigate that to be my best self.
