Publisher's summary

Your struggle may come in different forms and be given one of many different names, such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and/or PTSD. No matter how much you or a loved one is struggling or what it is called, one thing is almost certainly clear: You aren’t living the life you desire or deserve. Still, there is hope. By embracing the struggle, rather than fighting it, you can stop surviving and start thriving.

Ken Falke and Josh Goldberg train combat veterans battling PTSD to understand and achieve Posttraumatic Growth (PTG). PTG helps you discover opportunities from times of struggle, and this book provides actionable strategies for making peace with past experiences, living in the present, and planning for a great future. Through Ken and Josh’s work, thousands have transformed struggle into profound strength and lifelong growth. Now it is your turn. It’s time to learn how to Struggle Well.

A great listen!

Great stories and practical approach. I really enjoyed the how each step built on the previous and expanded it. This really helped me to retain the information as I listened while walking my dog and getting chores done. Thanks to the struggle well team for putting this together.

Struggling. Well.

As a veteran and someone who has struggled with PTSD for nearly 15 years, I found this book and its approach to be a break from the norm. I received a great deal of insight into PTG and what it really is. Thank you to the authors for this effort.

Profound and genuinely helpful

There are a lot of self help books out there, and concepts like power of attraction, yoga and a lot of other things. But none I feel actually touches the core of trauma healing. Ken and Josh's Struggle Well does that. Because both Ken and Josh struggled in their own lives and healed. It touches on yoga, meditation and wellness practices, but we need to serve/help others in some way to get the full benefit, and have a support system of genuine friends. I think they hit the Bull's eye with this. With real life experiences that most struggling with trauma can understand, the book gives hope and support that "struggling well" is possible indeed. My prayers and best wishes for their Boulder Crest retreat centers in Virginia and Colorado.

Ken Falke, a man who hands out life.

I was in Ken Falke,s company less than 24 hours. I can say with confidence and pride " I know him " he is genuinely and openly vunerable. time spent listening to his mindset is at face value the huge value. I pulled over a mile from Boldercrest, downloaded this combat/disaster master's bible. officer survival is so much more than your daughter knowing what the sound of Velcro ripping at six AM Saturday morning means and don't get murdered at work tonight.

any ass kicker with hail damage will end their search for " PTSD HELP "

I'm preparing for a future of new service missions, with a new team.

thank you,

YOU ARE A GREAT MAN.

Respectfully,

Chief, J.M. Boyle ( Ret. )

Makes You Think

There are a lot of concepts in this book that, when lumped together, are labled as Post Traumatic Growth.

I believe that while nothing is inherently new to the book does a good job of piecing things together in a way that makes it digestible and applicable.

Some parts were challenging for me even as I have grown in those areas tremendously meaning that no matter how far anyone has come there's always areas that will require your attention.

One of the best books I've ever read. Not just for veterans. Anyone who has struggled or is struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety or just plain struggling in life can read this and learn tools to not just cope with life but THRIVE.

Reflections of Warrior PATHH (Class # 004)

Listening to this audio book was like getting a refresher course on Warrior PATHH. I can always use that like the new unit commanders 1st speech during COC ceremony. Back to the basics. Thank you (Beausite Brotherhood).
