The book has some interesting insights and is quite straight to the point.
with the audio version I missed the ability to skip between the different themes in the last part of the book

Really wish the audiobook would have broken down each talent/strengths into individual chapters, instead of a run on chapter for half the book labeled “end Credits”. I will now have to keep notes of time stamps or purchase the hardcover to use as a quick reference for implementation of what is taught here.

Would you listen to Strengths Based Leadership again? Why?

I plan on listening to it as many times as it takes to own it's life changing, actionable, data driven methodology. I like when data demonstrates how well a product or idea delivers. I'm a busy person, time is the most precious. I would buy any book they publish. I love a great return on my investment. DD Vasseur.

What did you like best about this story?

It comes with one free online assessment analysis of your strengths. I love that the book gives real world examples of leadership styles in action. This is your leadership style and here is how this person used it successfully. It's so relevant & implementable.

I was looking for a way to refer back to the information in the book at anytime. Having this as an audiobook was helpful because I could set bookmarks and review the different strengthens again and again at my leisure.

Would you listen to Strengths Based Leadership again? Why?

Yes. I'm in a strengths based organization and work in the human resources division. I have to know it and use it beyond my team when I am consulting with other teams.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I'm thinking of this book as a reference book. The great content in the book are the sections on each strength where the authors descibe how to lead from that strength and how to lead other's who have that strength. The one glaring thing that is missing is how to work with a leader who has that strength. I would add a section from the followers perspective on each strength.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The think that I liked most about the performance was the conversational style. I really felt as though Barry could have been sitting next to me in my car, doing yard work, or eating breakfast while I listed.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really. the 'moment' is really the bulk of the book where they describe how to work in each strength.

Any additional comments?

This is simply, really excellent content. I'm thinking they should write a book for strengths based following... though they should probably have a better name than that.

Great Book! The intro describing how the strengths play out was very heplful! Also the end half of the book is just describing the strengths in greater detail.
