Publisher's summary

The number one audiobook on stock investments!

The stock market has its peculiarities. It’s a world where a small matter has the potential of creating a massive impact. One thing added or one thing left out could be the difference between making a million dollars and losing it all.

There is no shortage of investors. The world has many of them. And you can be sure that some are extremely successful while others cry bitterly over their losses.

The reason why most investors fail is that they approach investing as though it were some lottery game. They takes chances. They have no plan. They stagger from one failed investment to another, taking stabs in the dark, and soon enough they lose all their money.

This audiobook has been written to help you become an intelligent investor. An intelligent investor doesn't take chances. An intelligent investor is a value investor who exploits market inconsistencies long before others have taken notice.

You will learn all the basics of the stock market investment and how to optimize your investments and realize the largest possible profits.

An investor should not turn himself into a speculator, for a speculator acts on his instincts rather than his intellect when executing trades.

The stock market is neither a mythical place beyond human understanding, nor a place reserved for people with special genetics. The investors who have made a fortune out of stock market are average people like everyone else, except they took their time to understand everything before trying to get in the game.

I stopped at Chapter 6

This was painful and not because of the content. I was hoping that this could help me start understanding more about getting into investment, but it was merely impossible to follow a long. The tone and emphasis on certain parts of the sentence make it confusing and at times the narrator read random lists in the middle of the content. A couple times, I was asking myself what was going on. Overall, pretty disappointed. For those that are interested in getting involved in Investments, I recommend reading articles produced on Robin Hood or Baron's magazine, easier to follow and A LOT more consise.

I FINALLY understand stocks!!

This audible book is a work of genius!!! I tried to get into stocks years ago and none of the references for beginners I came across made any sense, so I gave up. I decided to give it another try and some references captured the very basics like "what is a stock?" "why is investing important?" but after that sent me for a loop again. I decided not to give up again and that's what led me to this book. Victor Lucas simplifies EVERYTHING! He puts in a relative perspective so you can understand it better. Like saying an exchange is basically an auction. He relates something unfamiliar to something familiar so you can grasp it better. It helps a lot to be put this way. And I love that he centers the book solely on stocks.

Great insightful book!!!

This audible book was a fast, easy listen and I really liked how Victor Lucas explained the basics in terms I already understood. After listening it, I feel like I really know why stock investing is so important to me and my family’s financial future. And I know how to find good stocks the easy way, and how to buy my first stock to get started.

very difficult to follow

I listened to the book but it was difficult to follow but i think at times they would list just definitions, the presentation could have been written more like a story , at times the reader would read lists and it was not helpful.

Narration sucks

If you love the sound of computer voices, this is the book for you. Narration is really bad. It’s like a computer grown up is talking to a child who speaks no English. I’m sure the subject matter is okay but it’s just too difficult to listen to.
